A Life Changing Accomplishment
Throughout every school year music festivals and events are held by the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association). These festivals are held for students to test their musical mettle against one another for spots and placements. With each advancement comes a new round of competition for each student that places in the qualifying ranks. With each round of competition more difficult pieces and songs are required to be sung by those auditioning. The rounds of competition branch from local all the way to state wide.
This year I decided to participate and so far have made it to the third of six rounds of competition, this has been my greatest accomplishment. I am working on moving forward …show more content…

Singing for so long can be quite physically taxing after all so I had my doubts. However upon arriving at the event I was greeted by tons of people with similar interests and a love for music. The rehearsal time was spent diligently learning how to perfect what we already worked on in preparing for the festival. Essentially, for the duration of the entire two days I had learned so much from the director and my peers while making music with them. With having so much fun, learning so much, and making so many friends this accomplishment created an opportunity for a life changing …show more content…

The first couple stages of growing it were annoying, itchy, greasy, and gross; however, after I began to figure out how to take care of it all those problems went away. Another Unique feature is my clothing choice. I choose to go to school in semi-formal attire every day. I do this to create an impression and stand out in a subtle way while also looking good.
Future Feats
While I do have many goals I would like to achieve, most of my goals are school related. This school year I hope to increase my class rank as well as increase my chances to become a distinguished graduate. I also hope to get a highest honors score every quarter this year. Though this may be difficult I am confident that I will be able to pull it off with hard work and dedication.

Being the person that I am, I enjoy a wide variety of activities. Some of my favorite things to do are chemistry related games and puzzles; singing with my family and the music groups I am a part of; play games on my computer; and stand in front of a mirror and brush my beard. I do enjoy buying new clothing for school and for going out most of which consists of the apparel I wear to school daily. I am also fond of buying products for my facial hair such as: beard oil, beard wash, and mustache
