Your choice was almost instant. The grey door is the choice. Getting to be on the side of the villains is always way more fun, and that's something new in a Legend of Zelda style game. Besides, there's a group of people on the other side of the grey door, and all of them will be close to you; there's a good chance of surviving, right? You walk over to the door and swing it open, walking in with confidence. As soon as you walking in the door, you shield your eyes with your arms, due to a blinding light shining from seemingly nowhere. After a minute or two, you peek out of your arms, and see the light is gone. You put your arms down, and find that you're lying down on a bed, or somewhere soft. You sit up, and find that you were correct about being in a bed; matter-of-factually, you're in a large bedroom with multiple beds, all of them occupied. Before you can process anything else, you hear someone to your right shift around, and then let out a quiet yawn. You turn your attention to the person, and see a boy with purple hair and black pajamas staring right back at you. “Why....Why are you staring at me...?” You ask him. “I should be asking you the same question.” He says, crossing his arms over his chest. “Never mind,” You sigh and turn away from him, taking note of your surroundings a bit more. Most of the others were... strange. There was a man... or was it a woman? Whatever, it doesn't matter at the moment. The had the covers kicked down to the end of the bed, and their pajamas were a bit on the revealing side; only consisting of dull-gold short-shorts and a tight, white tank top. Their skin was also this silvery-green color. Weird. There was also a boy who had very light-purple skin, with purple hair. His pajamas were also purp... ... middle of paper ... ...l, why is it this big? I mean, there weren't /that/ many people in the room...” You ponder out loud. Realization hits, and you gasp and grin deviously. “Gannondorf probably keeps a small army here with him!” You rush over to the sink and splash some water on your face to get yourself fully awake, and head out to explore. As you wander around, on of the halls opens up into a large room with almost nothing in it. There's a set of stairs on one side of the room, and double doors on the opposite side. Guessing that this was the main entrance, you decide to go ahead and check out the upper floor, and work your way down. As soon as you make it up the stairs to the top floor, you find some Bokoblin archers; most of them are asleep or not really paying attention to anything. You quietly sneak past, and try out some of the doors along the hall. Works Cited Legend of Zelda
Erasmus was led to the marble stair, and up to the palace dome. Everyone always wondered what was in that room but now one ever got the chance to know. To Erasmus surprise all there was in the room was an old
In the opening scene, Elsinore Castle looms over the soldiers and people standing outside. The camera angle forces one to look up at the dark castle; then the camera surveys the people, revealing that the evil from witnhin the castle is not self-contained but looms over and affects everyone in Denmark.

Have you ever stressed out about something that turned out to be insignificant? Whether it be writing this English personal response, an interview with a future employer, or forgetting to bring your homework even though you've finished it? Most of us have experienced this stress, or source of unhappiness, caused by negative thoughts. I believe we all have bad imagination. We like to think about the worst possible situation and get used to it, which is why many of us worry and blame our sadness on others causing more unhappiness. In the story, “The Painted Door” by Sinclair Ross, the protagonist, Anne, is a very lonely individual that is very unhappy

It has one locked door, and no window. A little light seeps in dustily between cracks in the boards, secondhand from a cobwebbed window somewhere across the cellar. In one corner of the little room a couple of mops, with stiff, clotted, foul-smelling heads, stand near a rusty bucket. The floor is dirt, a little damp to the touch, as cellar dirt usually is. The room is about three paces long and two wide: a mere broom closet or disused tool room. In the room a child is sitting (Guin).
... doors. They were all old, and looked as if they might collapse. The houses have been worn down, by the constant goblin raids. I passed house after house, before reaching the edge of the village. Belophose whinnied, strangely, as if she sensed something coming. I could sense it too. It was too quiet. It was never this quiet. As if on cue, the earth shook, and the mountain began to crumble. Rocks were falling and the villagers screaming.
All the shiny items to the back of the room caught my eye instantly because they appeared to look rich and prestigious. On the right of the big main entrance door in front, there was a silver tree, and on the opposite side of the room on the left side of the door, there was a gold tree. Money hangs on the tree, and I thought that was an interesting feature to have. As I looked around the room, I noticed the red carpet below me, and everyone was sitting on small rectangular pillows. The main speaker told me that pillows were located in the big container next to me, so I grabbed one and sat down. The...
A map of The Magicians Cellar. The Magicians Cellar was a cave buried deep in the rock under the grid of roads and seas of concrete that made up District A. It was also the most dangerous place in A, with over 200 reported deaths and 400 mysterious disappearances in the past decade. Calvin and Milo’s friend, Jack, had gone missing 3 years ago, and long after the police had given up the search, the boys had refused to give up, tracking even the smallest of evidence like a dog following a scent. The cellar seemed the most obvious place, but since there had been no evidence pointing towards it, and A’s inhabitants never did anything illogical, and going somewhere that had no evidence leading to it was totally illogical, they had not yet searched it. Calvin grabbed the paper from Milo, and stuffed it into his Goodwin regulation backpack. It was black, with silver zippers. His name was written on the left strap, just like every other student in Goodwin. They raced into the street, and almost ran into the most important man in the world. Dr.
The soldier and Szpilman are seen to be quite near to each other in the middle of the frame. As he holds open the door the camera zooms into them, which adds tension to the scene. Szpilman is seen here to be in darkness as if he just blends into the shadows of nothing. However the solider is seen clearly to show his superiority. There is a lot of light towards the soldier, which allows there to be a dark shadow which means that there are 2 sides to him which could be revealed. One door is open and the other is closed. The soldier is placed in front of the opened door which suggests that is he is leading Szpilman into reliving his dream of being a pianist. In the middle of the frame through the doors we see a piano. In front of the piano we see horizontal line of light with some shadows which shows the audience that there is something behind the piano. The fact that the soldier pauses whilst talking to Szpilman with one door open and one closed creates tension. The director has chosen to do this to make the audience suspicious of this mysterious room.
For the next 3 weeks all I can think about its what went on that and what will be the next thing we do when I am let off the hook. As I start to plan the return to “ The Mansion” I start to hear weird noises coming from the woods outside of the house. As I peek out of the window of my small upstairs room, I see 4 people in black outfits slowly walking up to the garage door of my house. As I go to get my parents I realize that they had left to go to the grocery store about an hour ago. I then proceed to call my friends and tell them all to meet at my house asap so we can head back to “The Mansion” sometime tonight as we have all been curious for the last 3 weeks. As they begin to arrive, I begin to think that the people I saw walking through the woods may have been my neighbor Dave and his 3 kids heading back home from the river they were fishing at earlier that
The Chronicles of Narnia are veritably the most popular writings of C.S. Lewis. They are known as children’s fantasy literature, and have found favor in older students and adults alike, even many Christian theologians enjoy these stories from Lewis; for there are many spiritual truths that one can gleam from them, if familiar with the Bible. However, having said this, it is noteworthy to say that Lewis did not scribe these Chronicles for allegorical didactics of the Christian faith, but wrote them in such a well-knit fashion that young readers might understand Christian doctrine through captivating fantasy and thus gain an appreciation for it. With this in mind, and in the interest of this assignment, the purpose of this paper is an attempt to analyze one of the many doctrines of the Christian faith from The Lion, The Witch, And, The Wardrobe (LWW), namely, temptation and how Lewis illustrates it through an individual character, Edmund.
There was incense burning outside which was what had lured me in. Once we got inside, my eyes were popping out of my head with how many items were engulfed inside. There was a lot of hand crafted art, such as jewelry and candles. I marveled for a good long time in there.
When I was a child I used to be frightened of entering such a place for it seemed so imposing and somewhat dangerous, especially when music was being played. One day, in order to keep a promise I had made, I saw myself forced to enter. It took me quite a while to get the courage to pass through the old oak door, but the moment I stepped in, I realized just how enchanting and breathtaking this building could be. Its fantastic architecture and exquisite frescoes reflect perfectly the unity between this earth and the unseen kingdom of angels in such a manner that one cannot say where one ends and the other begins. The way in which the church was built is also the vivid testimony of a medieval period. Although it is a place that can sometimes be cold and ask for respect it is where prayers are answered and magic is done. An overwhelming feeling of inner harmony takes over you once you enter and God seems much closer. Darkness and light are welded perfectly together creating Redemption’s house. The tower allows you to see the entire town from the smallest river to the biggest building site, offering you its mightiness.
