Some bullies act they way they do because they have been hurt by bullies in the past even a parent or another adult. Some bullies actually have personality disorders that don’t allow them to understand normal emotions like guilt, empathy, compassion, or remorse. I think that schools need to do more about bullying. It affects many kids and keeps them from wanting to go to school to get an education. It would make victims feel better about themselves.
All types of bullying are dangerous to the victim. The victim starts to believe the words that come out of the bullies mouth. The victim gets down on their self and turns to drugs or other things to make them feel better. People bully for different reasons. There are cultural causes of bullying.
Many children take their lives because they are bullied. A great amount of children are bullied at schools and an adult or teachers do not know that it is taking place. People need to see that this is a serious problem. Prevention of bullying will help society move forward and help protect kids from this abuse. Anyone can help, if you see someone being bullied tell an adult, every little bit helps.
Schools and communities too often stand idly by while people struggle, sometimes outright mocking the victim, or, in some cases, being told to suck it up. How can we as a society allow these children to abuse one another? Is that what we want people to grow up to think is somehow how the real world works? The real world does not work like school, and the bully and bullied alike are going to run into severe trouble down the line for what they experienced since no one ever taught them any better. Teachers, parents, and the community need to learn the signs of bullying and the ways to effectively handle bullying the moment it is spotted, or only more and more children are going to come out scarred and unprepared for reality, if they are lucky enough to make it out alive.
In the past few years, bullying has gotten so bad that people decided to take their own lives to escape the pain. Bullies use violent behaviors to harm their victims verbally and physically. Usually, the victim is too frightened to fight back and too embarrassed to inform adults. People choose to bully others for a broad range of reasons (media or the want for power), but not getting love and attention from dysfunctional families is the main reason ("Why do people bully?" n.d.).

Bullying happens on the playground, during class, and to and from school (Wright). Bullying has become a big issue and some states are making laws to stop bullying (Garby). It damages the people being bullied, effects the bully himself, and sometimes the people that did not take part in the bullying. Bullying hurts the person being bullied in tremendous ways ("Bullying"). Children that are bullied sometimes feel hated, unimportant, and terrified ("Bullying").
BULLYING Bullying has increasingly becoming a bigger issue in most countries with devastating results, it occurs in many forms, and has affected lots of people. It is an unwanted, aggressive behavior among school or in public places. Bullying involves a real or perceived power imbalance. In most countries, bullying is a part of the everyday life of some students. Bullying happens nowadays, because it has reasons behind it.
These children already have a difficult start at life and by them being bullied, unnecessary stressors are being added to the childs already wearisome existance. They are usually traumatized by bullies, who are typically the child's equal, and they l... ... middle of paper ... ...on should be like. A stand against bullying can be taken by people in all walks of life. I, for one, have pledged to speak up when witnessing anyone, of any age, being bullied. What a different world this would be if we all remembered the golden rule, "Treat others the way we want to be treated."
