Bibliographical Entry

Fay, William. Share Jesus Without Fear (2nd edition). Grand Rapids: Baker Book House, 2000.

Author Information

William “Bill” Fay experienced life on a rollercoaster. His seemingly normal childhood and youth was followed by a double dose of selfishness with a little crime to go along. He was a self-made man, so long as you didn’t count the victims of his crooked gambling. Fay became aware of a growing emptiness that could not be satiated. After several contacts with Christians, Fay ultimately invited Jesus Christ to be his savior. Fay now operates Bread for Life Foundation and hosts a syndicated radio show. Fay used his business acumen to build a witnessing method that he shares with Christians around the world.

Content Summary

William Fay is the kind of man people listen to; and for good reason. William Fay regularly confesses to his prior criminal life and the celebrity lifestyle it bought. His early adult life was a solar system away from his childhood. Raised in a well-to-do family, Fay had many advantages over other kids his age. But like having a software program installed, his hard drive changed. William Fay became a self-centered man with an extraordinary drive for success. He led a dual life: corporate CEO and criminal. By day he managed and operated multimillion-dollar in...

Fay’s underlying message seemed to be that God will accept him then God will accept anyone. Additionally, he believes that Christians should be able to take the book and apply the methods immediately and feel the support of the Holy Spirit. For some, the method represents a giant step forward. Conversely, others will embrace the method and running through their list of unsaved relatives and friends.

In conclusion, the light has been thrown on an activity that may have seemed mysterious or frightening. By and large the arguments presented cannot be denied: God expects us to share our faith in Jesus Christ. The book could be used as a witness training in any church for little cost. Failure to carry out our obligation is not an option. We are responsible to be obedient to present the message to the lost souls around us.
