What are the sources of suffering, and happiness? Some might say money will make them happy or fame, others it could just to be heathy. Everyone has their own way to be happy, they usually have one major thing that makes them static. Now in everyone’s lifetime you will not be happy everyday, life is a roller coaster with up’s, and down’s. On earth you will suffer one way or anther it is unpredictable. The source of our suffering is like our happiness there is a source but everyone has a different source. All things considered to understand happiness, and suffering we must go back in time to truly fathom this concept of the two. I will go back and analyze “The Book of Job”, and “Gospel of John”, these will help our understanding, and the origin of happiness, and suffering. Scholars estimate “The Book of Job” to be written between 7th, and 4th century BC, but the author is unknown, he might have been an Israelite as well. “The Gospel of John” author is unknown, but many scholars believe that it was written somewhere between AD 90-110 as that was when John was around. Also John was referred to as “the disciple whom Jesus loved”, both “The Book of Job”, and “The Gospel of John” are both from the bible. Even with all Jobs suffering he still loved God, Jobs wife would begin to tell Job why are you still a follower of God “Are you still holding on to your integrity?
