Introduction I want my career to be a Firefighter because they save lives and make a big difference in their community. There are people in my family such as my dad and I wanna make a difference like he does.My dad saves lives and I wanna make a difference in my community like he's done. They Become vested after 20 years working for a fire station. Being vested means getting retirement from that fire station for the rest of your life.They also get really good benefits like health care . Career-related information To become a firefighter you have to go to fire academy school and have to have a diploma. “The entry-level education needed to become a firefighter is a high school diploma or equivalent” (B.L.S firefighters).
