I will graduate from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln with a double major in art and psychology as well as a minor in business. While here I will direct my focus to art classes that are able to translate over to a career in art therapy, such as painting and pottery. In addition, I will take classes that center around various social groups in order to better understand the thought process of others. Business classes will also be a focus on mine in order to ensure opening a successful art therapy facility. Upon moving to Lincoln I started working at Forever 21. Working customer service allows me to interact with a copious number of people. While here I have learned how to make short encounters with others effective, how to understand someone
I hope to leave NC State as a young adult who is ready and prepared to enter society with a determined mindset and hard work ethic. I believe that I will be perfectly capable of achieving my goals and and aspirations as an NC graduate, and will graduate with the experience to take on challenges that may await me in a future career. Although I am still unsure of my desired field of study, I am confident that I will be able to discover a career path I will enjoy through the Exploratory Studies college. I am excited to enroll as an undergraduate student at NC State, and look forward to the opportunities ahead of me in the college of Exploratory
I am currently attending Moravian College majoring in English with a Secondary Education certification. I endeavored into this field of work because I believed that it would be beneficial for later career options and would sustain my financial independence throughout college. The work I chose to take part in as a psychiatric technician will also benefit not only my teaching interests but also my law enforcement interests. Being a psychiatric technician has allowed me to grasp the concepts of
What kind of career is Massage Therapy? A very interesting and productive career which I would enjoy pursuing. Some reasons that this would be a good career for me are that it pays well, education is not extensive, it helps others, and it is something I am good at and enjoy doing.
The job of art director exists in a number of creative fields, including advertising, marketing, publishing, film and television, web design, and video games. Personally my aim would be to work as an Art director in the field of publishing, magazines or novel. To achieve this dream I would need a bachelor's degree in an art or design major such as: fine art, visual communications or digital media. University of West Georgia offers Art major with concentration in graphic design, which is great for the career field I am trying to go into.
interest me. I have considered Business Administration, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, History, Political Science, Secondary Education, Small Business Ownership, and Theatre. Because I am interested is such a wide variety of majors, I am going into General Studies until I make a decision. I have considered starting my own business, most likely a pet store or clothing store, so that is why I have thought about majoring in Business Administration and Small Business Ownership. However, in the economy right now and the small town area I live in, it would be difficult opening a small business. I have taken this into consideration and that is not my first option at the moment. I have always been good with kids and I think I would enjoy teaching them, so I have thought about majoring in some form of
In chapter twenty-one of the course textbook, the reader is presented with the case of Mrs. Day. Day was in an auto accident and it was necessary to amputate one of her feet. The chapter tells of Day’s progress through art therapy and the issues that had to be overcome in order for Mrs. Day to come to terms with her treatment. Outside research has shown that art therapy is useful in the eyes of the patient with a disability.
My Plan to Turn my Passions of Understand Humanity and Helping Other Into a Career. After graduating High school, I would like to continue practicing my number one passion of helping others and being part of a team and my recent passion of wanting to learn about humanity by majoring in Philosophy and later become a Physical Therapist. It may seem weird to major in Philosophy since it not being a command major and by having a reputation for being a major that does not offer many careers.
I will get my bachelors in this program which is bachelors of science in health and wellness. I will then get more education with more lab involved or more hands on experience to be able to move on to my next move which will be to enter a physical therapy program and I will be there for a few years. When I get enough experience, I will get my certification to be a sports physical therapist and help young or older athletes overcome injuries.
In my final year of my undergraduate education, my most prominent academic goal is to utilize my remaining access in these studios and time to spend in these amazing facilities to make a body of work that fully reflects my perspective as an artist. In addition to this, I plan to fully embrace the valuable feedback of my faculty and peers and to enjoy the time that is given to fully develop our concepts and techniques. Professionally, my immediate goals are to allow myself to be in a position after graduation where I will be able to continue exploring and making work that is mutually investigative and informed by design. I plan to pursue both residencies and graduate programs that could facilitate this further investigation, but I am also open to seeing how my plans develop and change over the next several months.
I hope to work with as many materials as possible, and read as many books I can get my hands on. I want to be the strongest artist I can be if I do get the opportunity to come to Vermont in the summer and study to receive my MAT in Art & Design. It would be a true privilege to be apart of the second class in a new developing program. It would also be an amazing opportunity to be working on my MAT at Vermont College of Fine arts as well as finishing my BFA at Cornish, and a challenge that I am excited and ready to take on. Becoming an art educator has been my goal for many years now, and I would love to have my degree come from the Vermont College of Fine
A marriage and family therapist helps people manage and over come issues that they are facing in their relationship. To be a marriage and family therapist you have to be responsible, by demonstrating the ability to write reports, maintain client records, collect information about clients and help clients get their desired service. I picked this career out of the many that are available because it’s a career that I could see myself doing everyday and for the rest of my life. I'm a very understanding person and I like to relate to everyone I liked how I can interact with the clients and see two sides of their issues. I love to help people and this job would give me the ability to help people's struggles and may them feel better and get some closure or resolve issues that might be occurring.
I learned that my interests and my major coordinate quite well. I have known that I wanted to do art therapy as soon as I found out what it was my sophomore year of high school. I knew it was right for me because of my interest in both art and psychology, as well as a general need to help

The career route I am interested in pursuing is Therapeutic Exercise / Physical Therapy. I plan on becoming a physical therapist after I successfully graduate CSUN with my bachelors degree in Kinesiology. A physical therapist’s job is to improve, sustain, and restore people’s maximum movement and functional ability. They also relieve pain and prevent permanent physical disabilities in their clients.
There are so many options and opportunities in the world for careers and life, but I’ve narrowed my search to three different but somewhat similar careers. The first is an artist because art is my passion. The second career is a high school art teacher because I get to work on my passion, but I also get to teach it to others. And third would be a military chef because the military has so many great opportunities.
