Becoming a Medical Assistant believe it or not is an awesome career. Being able to be on the inside and handling emergency hands on is what I will be experiencing. Medical Assistants overall have many job duties and I might add if you are a busy person and you have the urge to help others, then this job is for you. Overall, the objective is to point out the duties, various opportunities and what you will be able to accomplish in the role as a Medical Assistant. Medical Assistant. Hmmm. Some people may say being a Medical Assistant you are basically at the bottom of the pole. Hear me closely. You are not. In my opinion, it is one of the highest positions you can have in the medical field. Not only one of the highest but you are able to accomplish and achieve so my much just by having the title of a Medical Assistant. Becoming a Medical Assistant of course school is needed. You just don’t want to jump out there not knowing what a blood pressure is or how to give the correct injection in the right site. As a Medical Assistant, the pay usually ranges from 10.00$ to 15.50$ of course depending on experience. Getting there may be a bit of a task. I must say time management is a big key in all of this. But I notice that you can utilize career services during and upon graduation to either help build your resume or find a career of your choice. There are also a lot of workshops on Kaplan website that you can continue to take to help you prepare for job search or maintaining your CEU’s for your certification or diploma. Not to mention they have a live agent available 24/7 to assist you with certain things that you may need help on. I know for sure Kaplan University offers awesome resources and great professors to help you once you have
