Introduction Song is an art that having created from a combination of word known as lyrics and rythem to ensure the beautiful melody. According to Allan (2014), people’s attitude are affected by their favourite song. People tend to have calmness when listening to music. Chen and Chen (2009) state that listening to the English song is considered as one of the effective teaching style to motivate elementary school students to learning English. People have a different taste of music. They can find the excitement of music through a different genre such as a cappella song, ballad song and nasyid song.
Cappella Song A cappella songs knows from the sequal of movie ‘Pitch Perfect’ and ‘Pitch Perfect 2’ which a group of people who performs the song by using mouth to create a melody and sing without any music instruments. According to Schloneger (2012), the existence of a cappella song on 1909 and its continue until the next forty years where people at Hesston College was performed completely a cappella because the musical instrument were forbidden. People need entertainment to release their stress and problem. Sometimes our soul need to be feed, so nasyid song is the best way to fill our soul with a good thing. According to Fikri and Tibek (2014), to fulfill the needs of man, a healthy body and healthy mind need entertainment to avoid weariness, boredom and the feeling of tiredness. Some entertainment are dangerous for Muslim because it can lead to forget Allah. Fikri and Tibek (2014) state that entertainment in Islam is the sake to seek closeness to Allah. The lyrics of nasyid mostly have moral values and religion advice. The example of nasyid song in Malaysia is Balqis by UNIC and international’s nasyid song is Freedom by Maher
