Estonia woke during the early period of her people’s settlements, and she travelled with them until she was found later by a man visiting her country’s boundaries. He gave her the name Aestii. This did not end Russia’s involvement in her politics though and for a year, the KGB invaded her home and created havoc until the night in August 1991, when the Soviet Government collapsed, leading to complete independence, almost literally overnight. It was at this time, that Estonia began to feel the weight leave her back.
Though it wasn’t until the armed forces of Russia’s withdrew that she finally breathed a breath of fresh air, it was still nice to begin the process of learning to live again.
