Anne Boleyn was born circa 1501, in England. She was the second wife of King Henry VIII. It was Henry’s divorce to his first wife to marry Anne that led him to break away from the Roman Catholic Church and form the Church of England. Anne was queen of England for a short time between 1533-1536. Anne gave birth to a daughter, Elizabeth but was not able to have a son. Her daughter Elizabeth later became known as one of England’s greatest queens. Anne’s exact birth date is unknown but is still believed to be in 1501. She was born to Thomas Boleyn, the Earl of Wiltshire and his wife Elizabeth Howard. During her younger years Anne lived in France but returned to England in 1522 and established a home at King Henry VIII’s court as lady-in-waiting to Catherine of Aragon, Henry VIII’s first wife. Anne Hutchinson was born Anne Marbury in Alford, England, in 1591. Anne's father was a deacon at Christ Church, Cambridge. Francis Marbury spoke out earnestly about his convictions that many of the ordained ministers in the Church of England were unfit to guide people's souls. For this act of defiance, he was put in jail for one year. Undaunted, Francis Marbury continued to voice his radical opinions, including that many ministers were appointed haphazardly by high church officials to preach in any manner they wanted. Eventually, Anne's father did restrain his verbal attacks on the Church of England, choosing conformity with an imperfect church over constant arrests and inquisitions. (D. Crawford, Four Women in a Violent Time, pps. 11-15.) Being educated at home, Anne read many of her father's books on theology and religion. Much of Anne's later independence and willingness to speak out was due to her father's example. Anne admired her father for his defiance of traditional church principles. She was always fascinated with theological questions such as the fate of the Indians who had no knowledge of Jesus Christ or salvation. Her childhood was a definite factor in the development of the strong, self-assured woman she grew up to be.

First, a little background on Queen Anne. Anne was born February 6, 1665 to the parents of James, Duke of York and Lady Anne Hyde. She was born in the St. James Palace of London. She lived in a very bad time during the Holocaust, where she either had to hide or go to a concentration camp. Anne Frank is a normal girl that should be going to school and not be in hiding from the Nazis and should not have to take the sacrifices of having no friends, no ability to be free and to express her religion. I consider Anne a hero because of all the dedication to staying free and not having to be under a dictatorship.

She and seven other people had to hide in a secret annex Prinsengracht 263 in Amsterdam. Anne received a diary on her 13th birthday and wrote about all the little things that had happened to her throughout the day.
Elizabeth was born September 7, 1533 in Greenwich England. She was the daughter of King Henry VII and his second wife, Anne Boleyn. Elizabeth had a half sister from the king’s first wife, Catherine of Aragon, and also had a half brother from the king’s third wife, Jane Seymour. When Elizabeth was only two, her father had her mother executed for suspicion of adultery. When her father decided to have Elizabeth’s mother executed, he then stripped Elizabeth of her title as princess.
Queen Elizabeth’s mother, Anne Boleyn, had a pretty rough time. After “marrying” Queen Elizabeth’s father, Henry VII, she became the queen. Soon after she became pregnant, everyone was preparing for the little prince, Prince Edward, but whenever Anne Boleyn’s due date came she had a little girl, Princess Elizabeth. After many failed attempts at conceiving, the king became angry and started to think of a way to end their marriage. With the help of a few of Anne’s enemies at court, King Henry started an investigation. Anne was eventually arrested on the charges of adultery, incest, and plotting to murder the king. With limited evidence, she was found guilty and sentenced to death by beheading. On May 19th, Anne was privately executed.
She captivated the heart of King Henry the VIII with her exquisite sexuality, intelligence, and witty appeal. King Henry quickly became so charmed and infatuated with Anne that he demanded a dissolution of his previous marriage to Queen Catherine from the pope in light of the fact that she was not untouched by man when she had relations with King Henry, and in addition that God was punishing him for marrying his brother's wife. An investigation took place and the Pope declared the marriage to be invalid. This left King Henry the VIII with no other alternative than to separate from the influences of the Pope and the Catholic Church and to make his own particular church, the Church of England, so he could marry Anna Boleyn.
