Five Paragraph Essay: Audrey Hepburn (Hannah)
Acting has always been in my blood. Some believe I was one of the greatest! Hi, I'm Audrey Hepburn and I would like to tell you how I created my acting career. I was born on May 4, 1929, in Brussels,Belgium. My parents were Joseph Ruston and Baroness Heemstra. I had two brothers, Alexander and Ian. I was a talented performer, known for beauty, elegance and grace. I remain one of hollywood's greatest style icons. When I was little I started dancing, I studied ballet in Amsterdam and later in London.
In 1940 my country was attacked by Germany. I helped my country fight against Germany by serving as a nurse during World War II. I suffered from illnesses like edema, and anemia in 1944. Also in 1944, the Germans killed my uncle, and one of my brothers when my other family members had gone into hiding. After the war I began to help residents, I gave them food and shelter. I occasionally gave messages to the citizens from their family. After all of this I decided to quit dancing and began focusing on acting.

In 1961, I received my fourth Academy Award nomination for my work on The Unforgiven. Cary Grant and I starred in Charade in 1963. I played in the musical My Fair Lady in 1964. In 1967, I played a blind woman in Wait Until Dark. That film brought me a fifth Academy Award nomination. That same year, my husband and I separated and later divorced. I later married Andrea Dotti and had my second son, Luca, who was born in 1970. In the 1970s and 1980s, Sean Connery and I starred opposite in Robin and Marian in 1976. In 1979, I co-starred with Ben Gazzara in Bloodline. Gazzara and I teamed up again for the 1981 comedy They All Laughed, directed by Peter Bogdanovich.
