INTRODUCING THE 2001 CHEVY SILVERADO
MOTOR TREND’S 2001 TRUCK OF THE YEAR
While shopping for a new pick up truck I discovered a real find, the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. Ford may have been the best selling pickup in the United States, but more and more Americans are turning to Chevrolet to meet their hauling needs. While Dodge and Ford are making drastic changes to their full-size pickups’ appearance, Chevrolet has decided to stick with more traditional styling. During my research to find the best truck for the best value, I used a couple of outstanding web sites. They provided me with excellent information. The web sites used were: http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado/ index.htm and http://www.Nhtsa.dot
.gov/ncap/ncap.cfm.
Price Range
The 2001 Chevy Silverado Extended Cab price ranges from $22,537 to $32,778 (http://www.chevrolet.com/silverado/index.htm). There are several packages, options, trim levels, and engines to choose from. That’s why there is a more than $10,000 difference from the standard model to the loaded model.
Appearance
The 2001 Silverado model that caught my eye is the 1500 extended cab. The 1500 model comes in eleven appealing color schemes, from a bright Summit White to a deep Indigo Blue Metallic.
The extended cab feature allows for additional passengers, which is great for my family of four. Even though the Silverado has the most rear-seat legroom of any other GM extended cab pickup, the legroom for the rear seat would be uncomfortable for adults on a long trip. The rear seat can be folded up to allow for additional storage space, a convenient option for those who go shopping on a rainy day.
The extended cab comes with a term known as Fourth Door. Fourth Door pertains to the fact that there are actually four doors that can be opened. Each rear door can only be opened after the door in front of it is opened. This could be a slight inconvenience because the rear passengers are unable to exit the vehicle until the front passengers have opened their doors.

The 1500 model comes standard with the 4.8-liter V8 small block Vortec engine. This engine puts out an impressive 270 horsepower. However, with the horsepower comes an additional price to pay at the gas pump. The 2001 Silverado gets sixteen miles to the gallon in the city and twenty-one miles to the gallon on the open highway. To me the power is worth the price.
The 7.3 Diesels for Sale near Bonney Lake at Puyallup Car and Truck are powered by Ford’s legendary 7.3L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine. This engine revolutionized the trucking industry when it was first produced because it offered outstanding power, an incredibly efficient turbocharger, impressive fuel economy, and low CO2 emissions. The 7.3L Power Stroke® Turbo Diesel engine was even ranked by Diesel Power Magazine as one of the top ten diesel engines ever produced. Rest assured that you would be getting great value for money if you acquire any of the 7.3 Diesels. These trucks will also amaze you with how durable and reliable they are. Throughout the novel, Still Missing written by Chevy Stevens, the protagonist, is taken on a frightening journey of being drugged, kidnapped, sexually abused, and eventually left to fend for herself. Because of the author's unique writing style and use of first person, a sense of understanding is created for the reader's feelings and reactions. At the beginning of the novel, Annie O’Sullivan was extremely oblivious to her surrounding and would never imagine something like this ever happening. As the chapters continued, and she began to reveal what happened to her the first few days, she was unsure of what to do other than to be in complete shock, unable to react and grasp the entire situation. As the reader, I was intrigued by the ‘journey’

Redesigning to the Camaro, Impala, and the new Chevy S-10 pickup, Chevy's continued to symbolize American vehicles. After more than 100 years Chevrolet and Durant could not have dreamed of 214 million cars by their company. Chevrolet has experienced much change over the past century. The 1920's were a time where North America became modernized. Whether it was the music, the culture or the growth in technology, this time era is known to most people as the point where America advanced itself to become a world renowned country. An advancement that will be focused on is the Ford Model T. During this time owning a car was a symbol of wealth. Henry Ford, the creator of the Model T, made a system that revolutionized the automobile industry as we know it today. Henry Ford made it possible for people with an average income to own a motor vehicle by creating the assembly line and the theory of mass production. "The horse, which had been the chief means of land transportation for 3,500 years, had given way to the automobile, and the country's largest industry had been born." (Gordon)
The Ford 427 FE model engine was intentionally made for drag racing. The frame is large but, light weigh for a better performance. Junot Diaz's short story “Fiesta, 1980” gives an insight into the everyday life of a lower class family, a family with a troubled young boy, Yunior and a strong, abusive father, Papi. The conflict, man vs. man is one of the central themes of this story. This theme is portrayed through the conflicts between Papi and his son. Papi asserts his dominance in what can be considered unfashionable ways. Unconsciously, every action Papi makes yields negative reactions for his family. Yunior simply yearns for a tighter bond with his father, but knows-just like many other members of his family-Papi’s outlandish ways hurts him. As the story unfolds it becomes obvious that the conflicts between Papi and himself-along with conflicts between Yunior and himself-affect not only them as individuals, but their family as a whole.
Convenience. Convenience would be a factor that would need to be determined. How convenient is the vehicle for long travel, family travel, individual travel, and car-pooling? Is the set-up of the vehicle conveniently laid out? Financially, there are many areas of convenience, such as reasonable vehicle financing options, gas mileage for the vehicle, wear and tear on the vehicle, and much more. As a matter of fact, all areas of convenience must be considered in regards to vehicles for sale in a GM
How bad has cheating become over the years, the numbers in some cases are mind-boggling. In today’s day and age the amount of college students cheating is numbered to have maintain a steady figure of about 75 percent. (Lang, 2013) Cheating has been around since the beginning of time, some of the reasons behind most of the prolific cheaters are centered on what seems to be three main issues plaguing our society. Cheaters be it young or old, all seem to have what I call the “Big Three” in common. In my research on cheating, there were three things that continued to stick out, such as; procrastinating, the pressure to make the grade and it is easier to cheat rather then to do your own work. To the answer the question why college students cheat, we must first understand why, in order to find a solution on how to help avoid this continuing going forward. After reading this paper you will see that cheating has become prevalent in college, caused by a need to get better grades with less original work being done eventually the ends don't justify the means.
There are many different automobile companies providing buyers with many styles of cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles. Toronto Star January 14, 2005 present ways to approach the automotive buying process. There are many different surveys, crash reports, and rating systems comparing different companies and their vehicles. Things you should look for when reading these published articles are who conducted the study? Who paid for it? Who gains from it? Who loses? These are all things to keep eye on as some automotive companies will run their own surveys making their products seem overpowering against the competition. Some prove their products are safer then the competition where the competition has been proven time and time again to make that survey seem inaccurate.
While General Motors offers an adjusted arrangement of little, average sized and vast autos, hybrids, SUVs, and trucks, it basically depends on huge vehicles, for example, SUVs and pickup trucks to produce the greater part of the benefits.
