Introduction
Does critical thinking have an impact on creative problem-solving? Critical thinking in regard to science and how people think is not a natural process. Humans all have the ability to think, but within any natural mode of thinking, all thoughts must first pass through an emotional state within the brain—before any reasoning is put into play. Unfortunately, the emotions we experience early in the process of critical thinking create distorted or uninformed views of the situation, therefore these views result in a bad choice or ill-informed decision. Formulating ideas and persistently assessing critical information does not come easy and must be cultivated in order to improve. In the conversation of ideation and innovation, reasoning and the process of critical thinking both play critical roles. Recognizing problems, and gathering pertinent information to work through these problems is vital in the creation of ideas.
