My perspective as a teacher is that each student is unique and different in every way, which needs a nourishing, loving, caring and secure environment to grow and implement his/her, learning practices. Each student has the right to learn and teacher can act as a promoter. The environment of the class should be suitable for the students to grow and nourish.
The atmosphere can impact students in many ways; these impacts can be good or bad for the student. Environmental factors are very important for a child to develop learning, physical and intellectual skills. The elements which contribute to these factors are, (1) teacher working as a guide and an idol for the students on whom students can always rely on. (2) Students have a need to learn as much as they need air to breathe and survive; a teacher’s job is to fulfill this need of students. (3) As important as teacher’s guidance, a student’s curiosity is also essential to thrive and allows him/her to try new experiences which lead to increase of their knowledge. (4) Promoting ethical values and respect

The old way in whom the teacher spoke or gave lecture has become somewhat primitive, although it is not wise to completely remove the human touch from teaching but reduce it. Digital media plays a very important role in education for examples pictorial representation of a topic can help students better understand the topic (Luft, 2007).
Before implementing technology in the classroom, firstly most important step must be taken to insure that the teachers use this technology rather than just lecturing the students. For example if a teacher says here are three causes take notes, they should say here are the three causes find them using your technology. This will raise interest of students in their studies. so adaption of new techniques and technology is very important for the
Technology can enhance class communications by offering many different ways to reach parents and students. The use of different technologies can help teachers to answer student questions as well as continue a class discussion outside of class. This is helpful for both the student and teacher because it allows the teacher to see which students are comprehending the material they are learning.
..., by controlling the learning experience and having a good communication with the children. Furthermore, Parents and children’s need to be involved in the students’ performance and show in then that they care about their opinion and being nice and polite with them. Teachers and Parents need to be more understanding with the student in order for them to achieve them to achieve their personal goal. Even though, they are children’s they are little one’s with a big potential of growing and they are the future of tomorrow, so we need to encourage them in order to have a better generation and teach them with love and care.
From personal experience technology has improved the way I learn and has made it easier to students to collaborate with each other in order to improve our learning. To conclude, technology should be used in school’s curriculum and instruction because of improved communication, innovations to come and convenience to both the students and the teachers.
I would use the ideas that she presented in the talk during my teaching assistant (T.A.) sessions by doing something as simple as standing up straight especially during the periods where I’ll be teaching a lesson since standing up straight is a type of high-power pose. Since high-power poses will lead to an increase in testosterone and a decrease in cortisol, I will be able to feel more dominating and less stressed during those sessions. I honestly think that due to the decrease of stress that resulted from doing high-power poses, I will be able to feel more confident in teaching a lesson and thus allowing myself to teach a lesson effectively.
The environment in which a student learns is integral to how much they learn and how they feel about learning. Jones & Jones (2016) believe that “effective classroom management is first and foremost about creating classroom environments in which all students feel safe and valued”(p.7). As teachers, we are faced creating the type of environment in which students will thrive. Part of creating this type of environment, involves creating clear and concise classroom expectations for students to meet. In additions to creating expectations, it is also up to the teacher to “respond effectively when students behave in ways that detrat from their own learning” (Jones & Jones, 2016, p. 9). Although it is not always the highlight of our teaching career,
... remove their negative thoughts and they should not rely on teachers alone. They should learn from the teacher while he or she learns from the entire students”.
Technology has changed tremendously over the past twenty years, and the world appears to be captivated by the outbreak of technology and its developments in the teaching field. Technology has altered and will change numerous ideas of teaching. The effects of technology in the classroom are connected to not to just the teachers but to the students as well. The classrooms need to stay lecture driven, but then again how will they if technology is involved. Cell phones should not be allowed in the classroom for the reasons of cheating, distractions, and texting.
It is my strong belief that each child is entitled to a safe, secure, stimulating and caring learning environment. I always believed that each child is a unique individual with much curiosity and many academic, social and emotional needs. Children need our support in order to mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. As a teacher, one should aim to help students in fulfilling their dreams to become successful and educated individuals. We must provide them with a safe learning environment for their learning to succeed.
He believes that many teachers are left in the dark and this is why they do not use successful techniques when educating students. The book by Paul Tough, How Children Succeed, brings all of these points together. He discusses how the student –teacher relationship works hand in hand for a child’s success. The author also discusses how the classroom environment plays an important role in education. The learning environment should be positive for children. They should not be worried about anything when they get there and they also should be treated no differently from anyone else.
For the teacher, computer technology can lead to more efficient time management in record keeping and developing lessons plans as well as the ease of conducting any kind of research and communication without having to leave the classroom.
This being my first year of teaching I feel there are so many things that I have learned, and have helped me too become a good teacher. Yet I have so much more to learn, I still believe that students have the ability to learn and as a teacher it is my job to find ways to help them to become the best person they can be. Through being a reflective teacher, using professionalism, respecting diversity and having collaboration and community connecting this can be accomplished. When I am having fun teaching the student will have learning that material, this will help them to be relaxed and engaged in that lesson. I feel it is important to connect what they are learning to things that they have experienced in the real-world.
The environment that we are in contributes greatly to our educational experience. Environment can affect mood, energy, effectiveness, and motivation, which can in turn affect how students learn and how much they learn. Students are in the classroom for a majority of their day and even lives, therefore it is important that they are not only comfortable physically but that teachers take time to consider how class should be taught. Teachers should make sure that their lessons are interactive, thought provoking, and positive because these elements can aid in students’ education.
Using technology in education for the purpose of better understanding is a positive step taken by most of the schools, colleges and universities all around the world. Technology can play vital role in improving education systems. You can see electronic gadgets and computers being used in schools, colleges and universities. Audio visual tools are developed to teach complex topics to students in fun way. Faiza Abdur Rab, in her articles ‘Recreational Activities vs. Studies’ said that the lifestyle and education had become more competitive as science and technology is progressing (Rab, 2009). This advancement had brought many noticeable changes in methods and approach of learning and education. This progress is making people of the developing countries to meet the challenges of world. This is also helpful in improving the style and standards of living.
As an educator, there is always room for reflection and growth. Being in this class has provided an opportunity for both. From my knowledge gained in this class I believe that I have become smarter and have learned how to implement different tool into my teaching as well as general life as a teacher. Of the topics discussed in this class, commitment to students, avoiding burnout and reflective practices had the biggest impact on my professional growth.
Technology properly used in the classroom has many advantages to a student’s learning. Technology can help students become more involved in their own learning process, which is not seen in the traditional classroom. It allows them to master basic skills at their own rate rather than being left behind. Teachers and students alike can connect to real life situations by using technology in the classroom; this can also help to prepare students for real world situations. Technology can be used to motivate students as well as to offer more challenging opportunities. It can also be used as a visualization tool to keep students interested in the subject that is being taught. When technology is used effectively, students have the opportunity to develop skills that they may not get without the use of technology (Cleaver, 2011). Assessing and monitoring students is easier on the teacher because of the ability to use technology in the classroom. When technology is used correctly it offers limitless resources to a classroom atmosphere.
