After completing the Learning Needs and Resource Assessment with the workers and parents at the YMCA it shows that they want to implement physical activity and healthy eating habits in their daily routines. However, because of four main areas of concern for the community it is stopping them in implementing physical activity and healthy eating habits in their lifestyle. The first concern is the lack of time. Due to the many hours they work in a day the workers and the parents of the YMCA find that it is extremely difficult for them to manage time for healthy meals and physical activities. Another concern is the cost of healthy foods and convenience. The price of healthy food far outweigh the price of unhealthy food. Along with these concerns another main concern is Television commercials. Television commercials have an extreme impact on eating choices. Finally, the last, and quite possibly the most important concern is education. The parents and the workers stated that if they had more education on healthy eating habits and physical exercise it would help the community to choose a healthier lifestyle that would inevitably allow them to eat healthier and properly plan exercise into their daily life.

The first concept is the lack of time that our community has to eat healthier and to exercise daily. Due to the lack of time our children have between schools, and sometimes work, our children are eating unhealthy food and they are not receiving the exercise that they need on a daily basis.
