An effective Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is more than a management tool for controlling patient data. Methods used to monitor implementation, relationship between organization’s processes, professional roles, and communications techniques used to address issues during implementation are points to develop in this paper. The essential capability of this system consists in capture data at the point of care, integrate this information from the internal or external source, and support caregiver’s decision-making (OpenClinical, 2010).

The organization needs to monitor the entire process for the success of these changes. The evaluating the change process includes by addressing resistance that arises from members of the organization. For these changes, the organization could create objectives, policies, organization’s mission, and structure as a guideline to follow. To discovery opportunities of growth in the research industry is necessary the examination for this institution of existing external and internal conditions. Information obtained to serve as a basis for new changes and ability to change according to demands from pharmaceutical companies and government policies. To conduct a management audit analysis is the first step for the review of objectives and define the specifics needs for change. The objectives defined forces to the executives to design the project and develop the specific functions and responsiveness of managers and employees. The executive needs to document an overview action plan and initiate a review process about specific actions, timetables, and budgets.
