Many people wonder about their career and future plans in life and struggle to decide what it should be. Ever since I was young, music has been something that has laid heavy on my heart and has been very important to me. My spirituality is also something that has and will continue to be important to me. Because of my love for music and my spirituality, I want to become a music director in the Pentecostal Holiness denomination. After taking the tests on CFNC, the results on my interests, basic skills and values seem to be very accurate to who I am. The only issue I have is deciding on a four-year college or university even if I have some in mind.

At the moment, my attention is focused on Appalachian State University. Appalachian has a division called the Hayes School of Music which as a concentration in Sacred Music. To be able to enter Appalachian one must have a 2.0 GPA and to enter the Hayes division one must take an audition. There is not much information about Hayes School of Music online other than the concentrations and events, so if I wanted to learn more information I would have to contact someone that works there. The cost of a university or college is very important in my decision, and because Appalachian is a state university, it would be less cost effective for me to attend. There is another college I am looking at and it is called Emmanuel College. Emmanuel College is a private college located in Georgia and it is supported by the Pentecostal Holiness Denomination. Cost-wise it is more expensive than a state college or university, especially since it is out-of-state. Many people that I know attend this college and have graduated from it. I am very unsure about what college I should attend, but the only issues and standards I have are that the college I attend should be in-expensive, have a concentration in my field, and it should be
