As technology develops and choices of media enhance, individuals are becoming more and more affected through social ideals through these sources of media. In modern media, much focus has been presented to the implementation of stereotyping for its impact on the value of attractiveness and thinness. The reality that the media are continually defining thin people as successful and desirable (e.g. actresses and supermodels) has manipulated a vast number of people, particularly women, into the “I must be thin” passion (James, 2006). Finally, the media send out a cultural message that being thin and losing weight is a feminine thing to perform these days. Different sorts of media information about dieting data in a different style, ensuing particular impacts on the people. Rationale of this research is to define a correct perception on the impact of media on dieting and impact of the current situation of people.
