Since the creation of the Internet, scholars have been debating how the technology could is used. For the average person, the Internet can be used for things like connecting with family members who live far away, or even searching for that special someone on an online dating website. Other individuals however, see the Internet as a threat to privacy and national security within the United States. Sample questions from the study included “I would like to have similar cross-cultural online discussions in other courses” and “overall, my cross-cultural online collaborative learning experience was positive” (213).
