Has the weather-man ever been correct? Most people often look to the weather-man for accurate predictions of the day 's weather. However, most of their predictions seem to be inaccurate by a slight margin, such as being off a few degrees or an unforeseen chance of rain. This is common in today 's era and an explanation for their lack of precision is due to Climate Change. Climate Change, or more commonly known as Global Warming, has become a dying issue most climate skeptics have ignored or set aside for future, except, this current era is the future they were waiting for. One country notorious for generating the most carbon dioxide pollution from fossil fuel power plants is the United States. The U.S. produces 25% of the world 's carbon dioxide pollution; more than China, India, and Japan combined. The Natural Resources Defense Council stated that in the United States, an average amount of carbon dioxide pollution is 2.5 billion tons per year (National Resources Defense Council, 2005). The data presented in Fig.2 conveys the electrical energy produced by fossil fuel combustion and the United States is by far, the largest. According to a statistical analysis by the EPA, 40% of U.S. carbon dioxide emissions come from electricity production, and burning coal accounts for 93% of emissions from the electric utility industry (US Environmental Protection Agency). Almost every piece of technology used in the 21st century requires electricity and to produce the electricity necessary for the technologies the Earth is paying the price. In addition, carbon dioxide emission from automobiles follows fossil fuel burning power plants in being a large contribution to high carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere. Automobiles emit an average of 1.5 billion tons per year in the United States. As population continues to grow exponentially, the demand for automobiles and electricity in households will indubitably increase the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere to alarming rates that are beyond the point of no return. Once the Earth experiences this change in the atmosphere, it brings about disastrous
