When parents enroll their young children at school for the first time, children always get angry at their parents for sending them to a place where they do not have the freedom which they had at their homes. As time goes, children start to realize why it is important to attend schools; they realized that what their parents did to them was the first step for their life journey to success. Education is not only important for individuals; it is important to the society as whole. The education system main goal is to provide the people with knowledge which is one of the powers that every country need to stay afloat in today’s society. In addition to knowledge, the education system should develop the students ' skills, characteristics, values, and hobbies. This will prepare students for the future of their dreams and create a generation that could keep pace with the times. Now days, American public education system has played a significant role in providing the education to everyone living in the United States. However, there are several qualities which can improve the American public education system and put it in higher levels such as: going beyond the grades, changing teacher 's role in student 's life, and providing an equal opportunity for all students.
First of all, going beyond the grades is an effective goal that the education system should apply to schools. This quality should apply to the students in all the educational levels from when they enter kindergartens until they graduate and get their degrees. From early levels at schools, students are pushed by their parents, teachers, and all the people around them to do well at school and get the superior grades to keep them in the right path of their future. It is only far that everyone should have an equal opportunity to succeed in life. In order for any education system to do this, they have to make sure that all schools have the support and financial funds available for their students all the time. Public schools should always provide their students with more choices to improve their students skills and knowledge. Another purpose of a good public education system is to create a society that its members knows their rights and protecting them from losing their rights anytime. All public schools should spend the same amount for each student equally. Education benefit the whole society because it teach the children the way to achieve happiness and success.
