What is education to you? Education is not just a school, an institution in which you are confined to and force fed information, wait in some schools it is like that, to me it all depends on whether you are of a fixed or growth mindset. Don’t just look at education as a thing, think of it as a journey. I am of a growth mindset, but it wasn’t always like that it did take me awhile to get to there. Throughout my educational career, I did have some difficulties and some successes to go along as well, but who doesn’t. Sometimes you just got to ask yourself how far you will go to succeed in life. Well now is the ideal time to sit down and listen to the story I am going to tell.
Like I had stated before you could have either a fixed or growth mindset. A “Fixed Mindset” is an assumption of intelligence, through which the student believes that s/he is born with knowledge or without it. ... class, because the teacher had taught the concept of English in a different way. My teacher had put emphasis in the theatrical aspect of English. To sum it up, there was never a dull moment in class.
Let me take a moment of your time to ask once again. What is education to you, and what type of mindset do you possess? Are you just sitting there missing opportunities because you are afraid to stain your image or are you speaking up for yourself and asking for assistance? Beware of those who treat you like a deposit slip, we as students have potential to move forward and succeed. I made it to college and will work my hardest to reach my goal, no more “I can’t” and more “I can”. I wish to not repeat my past mistakes and to benefit from this class to further strengthen my writing skills. What about you? Remember whether it’s a great day or not, the choice is yours.

The Effects Of Art Education On School Children Essay

- Art Education is not always valued in school settings. Although some may see it as an unnecessary use of school funding, there are many who believe it is beneficial to students in more ways than one.
