Not all education is learned in school or taught by teachers, rather learned and obtained through personal endeavors. My educational experience has been quite a roller coaster. Something I have always told myself is ,"I wish I would have just stuck in school and finished right away." If it wasn 't for the fact that my perception of 'learning ' is much different from most people. Most people can read something and retain that information right away. And on the other hand, if you have a learning disability, like myself, you are expected to accept the information just a quick and the class moves on to the next topic. The student becomes the teacher, and the learning keeps growing like wild-fire. Most education, I 've been gathering, is taught through self experience. My automotive teachers are great for this quality. And also thinking back to grade school and high school, most of my teachers were all different from the ways they approached subjects. Which is what made them unique and somewhat tailored throughout their lifetime of education. Education is something that is passed down and interperted and then taught once again, and the cycle keeps going. To become a sponge, and absorb everything we come across. Life is the best education one can have. If you can learn to channel your understanding of your surroundings you have a much better chance of understanding where to devote education to. I feel like I took the longest road to the finish line. My whole life up until a year ago, I was pursuing something that was a complete bust. Even though it was a bust, I still consider it a valuable learning experience. And finally, I wouldnt be here typing these words out if it wasnt for my girlfriend. She is an amazing person and has had the most influencial touch on me. She is the one who encouraged me to go back to school and do something I truely love and she has always supported me and I could not thank her enough.
