New Nightclub
Introduction
============
My business idea is a new nightclub based in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. The
nightclub will initially serve the music and social entertainment
market, promoting bands and music acts from all over Wales, and also
playing music that the customers want to hear. The genres of music
played and performed will depend on the results of my forthcoming
questionnaire.
I expect there will be a demand for this service as the only
competition in or around the Tenby area is The Night Owl and The
Sands, neither have live music.
I intend to research my idea to test my hypothesis with primary and
secondary research. I also intend to produce a full business plan,
including a marketing plan, financial plan and a production plan.
Research Methodology
--------------------
Primary research gives first-hand information about the market, e.g.
Focus Groups, Questionnaires, Observations, Telephone Interviews, etc.
I have chosen to carry out primary research in the form of a
questionnaire, as this will able me to find out exactly what potential
customers want in a nightclub. It will also give me clear, accurate
answers to my questions based on the 4 P's - Product/service, Place,
Promotion and Price.
I will then be able to provide customers with what they really want.
This proves me to be market driven.
I will personally distribute the questionnaires to a variety of
different people to ensure fair and genuine results.
Secondary research gives second-hand information about the market.
This can be obtained by using local data, government statistics,
competitor information and prices, and key fact files, etc.
I will use competitor information to find out valuable information
such as:
· Fixed and variable costs (stock, electricity costs… etc.)
· How they promote their club
· The average number of customers they get on a weekly basis and which
nights are busiest
· How much they charge for entry, drinks, etc…
· Employment, seasonal, part-time, flexible hours?
You have asked me to analyze your plans for future growth and recommend the best form of business organization to accommodate that growth. I have also taken into consideration you’re your two main concerns of increased liability and ability to add investment in capital assets.
Executive Summary- Mountain Man Beer Company (MMBC) is experiencing declining sales for the first time in the company’s history. Chris Prangel, who will inherit the family-owned business in five years is faced with a hard decision that whether to take the risk of launching a new product to attract younger customers or to follow his father’s steps, continuing doing the 80-year-old Mountain Man Lager business. His father has concerns about the profit, the core business and the cannibalization and Chris has done several researches to estimate the potential business opportunity of the new product Mountain Man Light Through an analysis about the company, the product and the market, it is clearly beneficial for MMBC to launch Mountain Man Light. But Mountain Man Lager is the core business without which it is impossible to develop a new product and grasp a new market share, which is the spirit of the decades-old brand. Therefore, while I recommend that launching Mountain Man Light to create a new business, appealing to younger and female customers and making profit, Chris should take these strategies into account: keeping enough effort on existed product and holding the top market position, developing the brand and expanding the product line, if he plans to make profit from the new product in two years.
It is not surprising for an author’s background and surroundings to profoundly affect his writing. Having come from a Methodist lineage and living at a time when the church was still an influential facet in people’s daily lives, Stephen Crane was deeply instilled with religious dogmas. However, fear of retribution soon turned to cynicism and criticism of his idealistic parents’ God, "the wrathful Jehovah of the Old Testament" (Stallman 16), as he was confronted with the harsh realities of war as a journalistic correspondent. Making extensive use of religious metaphors and allusions in The Blue Hotel (1898), Crane thus explores the interlaced themes of the sin and virtue.
The first questionnaire we designed was a ratio scale. The first question on our ratio scale questionnaire asks respondents to divide one hundred points among the potential Pittsburgh competitors of Profiles Styling Salon. We asked the students to answer this particular question in order to gauge the level of competition that Profiles would face if they moved their salon. The level of competition will also affect a promotional campaign. If Profiles implemented a promotional campaign when the demand for a competitor in the same area is extremely high, the promotion is less likely to capture sufficient demand for Pr...
The above questions are open-ended to enable the participants provide all-inclusive answers. Furthermore, systematic approach will be used in obtaining the required customer sample, which is 15 customers in this case. The customers will be randomly selected, whereby every 3rd customer will be asked to fill-in the questionnaire. The technique of systematic sampling was selected to ensure equal representation and accuracy of results by preventing biasness. In addition, ethical concerns will be considered. The representatives would be informed that their private identity will be concealed and that the study is entirely for the company. The representatives are also at liberty to withdraw from the study and will be provided with a written consent outlining the reasons for the survey.

Mostly everyone has a hero, role model, or someone to look up to. These people can significantly affect your lifestyle, and what you do. The Avalon Ballroom by Ann Hood displays this type of character as the father of Lily, the protagonist. This highly respected patriarch inspires her to do many things, like to go to college at Princeton University just as he did.

Spitfire Bar & Grill has award winning food, that is wood fired, smoked, and even fresh. This award winning food is offered for lunch and dinner. The captivating aroma makes mouths water as soon as people drive by, even if they’re a few blocks away. Dining in, having take out, and also having catering as an option is what makes eating their food more accessible. This restaurant opened in 2007, since then has made a huge impact in the city of West Fargo, North Dakota. Before they opened as a full service business, it started as a seasonal, mobile business which included catering and vending from their big red trailer. It is owned by Tim Olson who started the business because he wanted a "Real Barbeque". Spitfire is located at 1660 13th Avenue

Prior launching this fitness center, several market research should be conducted, namely depth interviews and conjoint analysis. Performing a depth interview is a viable way to get information as the interviewee does not get spoiled if they were heard information regarding the same question from other people. In addition, conjoint analysis helps to decide the best marketing matrix that would optimize the gross margin. This combination would be perfect to have adequate information to forecast how the business would go.
The barriers of entry that could possibly affect the market in which my event planning business operates is brand loyalty and economies of scale.

As the marketing consultant for a hospitality management company, it is often my responsibility to define target markets for various restaurants and hotels. In fact, I have been tasked with creating a fictional hospitality operation, to utilize as an illustration to define a marketing strategy and target market. In addition, I must identify and analyze the product life cycle of an organization that has been in business for a minimum of twenty-five years.
On the other hand, weaknesses existed. The primary research was the most difficult and frustrating sector, for it was difficult to keep in touch with the potential competitors; hence, a chance to learn more and analyse deeper from the potential competitors was missed. To conclude, the result and analysis of primary and market research which was based on the questionnaire was not convincing enough, and it was the main sector which needed to improve in the future.
