Don Brewster: A Fight Against Sex Trafficking

Mr. Don J. Brewster was the pastor for a catholic church in Sacramento,California. He went on his first trip to Cambodia in 2005 was to see the missions his church has been supporting for years. Upon arrival to Svay Pak the only issue only seemed to be poverty, he played with the children, visited the pastors from the missions, and went back on his way home. The next day, after he arrived home he turned on the news and the headline story on NBC was “Children Four Sale”, it was about children in Cambodia being sold for sex on the nights' streets.
He spent six weeks researching on sex trafficking and what he was able to do the help, he built a team, and took them on a plane to the community of Svay Pak. There they came up with and founded Agape International Missions, where trafficked girls could be saved from being sold again. His team couldn’t come up with a way for the under aged girls to be safe from the community. He produced from this concern, the Agape Restoration Home (ARH) which opened for business in 2006. Every call the restoration home received, they helped a new found girl find hope instead of see fear with a holistic* rehab.
Within the first year of opening they had helped fifty-two girls see their greatness and help them strive for a better future.Mr. Don J. ... such amazing results on the first year but within the first year over sixty men came for help on a different matter. Don Brewsters' team had did prayers with the men everyday, and helped them to activities like weightlifting competitions and racing the other men. Lords Gym was teaching men to use better judgment and make the best decisions for their lives and others. The team that ran the gym celebrated when someone new came to the church for help.
Don Brewster is now back in California working with the International Justice Mission, to work on helping the men and women of America and places around the world so the nights' streets are safer and children can run around the cities safe without being worried about being harmed by another person . Don Brewster has decided the this is his best way to help the world and he is going to stick with it until it is finished.
