Waking up in a wet pool of my own slob. I could smell a scent of cinnamon fill the air. finally it was christmas the season where everything is magical and you get to spend time with family as well as eat anything you want. getting out of my bed i felt a chills up and down my spine. its was an extremely cold to the point i could feel my face and feet but it colder than it usual be. I ran towards my window and seen piles of snow that cover the grass,rocks, and dirt that usually be there. I scream in excitement I could not believe it was happening everything that i hope and wish for was finally happening. my sister fall back on the snow to make a snow angel it seem like fun so i did the samething. I could hear the cold wind whistling and as the naked tree dancing with the wind making harmony movement/music. I feel like my skin was turning paralyze as the snow was tingling and stinging my skin. I got up from the snow as cover my whole backside. I started to make a snowman since I always see it in christmas movies. My sister was helping me we manage to do the shape of the snowman but we needed a few essential to finish it. we needed a carrot for his nose, buttons or rock for his eyes and mouth, and a beanie and scarf so he can stay warm. I ran inside to get the things to complete it as I got outside to finish the snowman I could hear snapping in the background. My dad was taking picture of me the all of sudden I felt a drilling of coldness rushing to my neck. I felt I was stung by a bee that pass by but its was my sister who threw a snowball at me. i was walking towards the door seeing how many people came. I was shaking nervously in the girls bathroom but screaming in excitement I felt proud that i made it this far. my classmates and i was trying to put ourselves in order to see which one goes after the other. we were joking saying i am glad it over and hope we never each other again but deep down we miss each other already. I never knew bond we had for each other would grow into a long term friendship or family. now we off to say goodbye to each other and our parents to begin our life as an individual. as we begun to get in order to walk our graduation in our purple and gold uniform proudly showing everyone we made it/ we did it. Finally it was my time to walk smiling to everyone and look out into the crowd I saw my parents smiling and crying seeing that made me emotional. think about all the things we had to go through to make to this moment. After a moment of my principal speech, pledge of allegiance, singing the star spangled banner. it was our time to give out two roses to the ones who meant the most to you. I walk up to my parents and gave them each one for trying their best when it come to my siblings and i after I accept/ got my diploma we ate out together as a family which send some good memories in my mind even though my parents are no longer together they’re still good friends. summarize things up life can bring down unexpected time but rise you up we you need to be the
My middle school’s dean smiles while handing me my certificate. I gave her my best fake smile and stood in line with the rest of my classmates who made the honor roll. I put my medal around my neck, held my certificate in my left hand, and put my right arm behind my back. I can’t believe I left my jacket in my mom’s car.

Riquelme’s deconstruction of the text allows for the understanding that the story cannot be read in any specific way, but the variance in meaning, as well as understanding depends solely upon the readers’ perspective. Following a personal deconstruction of the text, it is reasonable to agree with Riquelme’s notions, while correspondingly proposing that the symbol of snow represents the flaws, and strengths of Gabriel, as well as the other characters as it effects all equally.
My parents grew up in small town in Mexico. There was a little river that went through part of the town when they were growing up. Every weekend or so they would go out and would go swimming with their families, it almost became a tradition to go swimming there until they noticed that the river 's water level was becoming smaller and smaller. Today there is no river anymore, instead it 's a road that travels through the town. Every time I visit my family in Mexico it would alway be nice and warm up until this year when I went in December. I remember waking up and getting ready to go to my aunt 's house in clothes for warm weather. As I open the door, the cold air punch me and I saw snowflakes falling down. Over than span of four year snowboading ive made leaps and bounds in my ablilty to ride. Although what stands out to me the most was how much snowboarding langue I picked up. When your surrounded in the mico-culture of the moutain snowbaording langue is inexcapable. Therefore, being a snowboarder affects the type of langue you use on the mountain.

When I saw the snow, I had so many feelings inside of me. I could barely speak or breathe. I was feeling so excited about the snow that I had to jump around the house and scream. While I was getting out of bed, I had so much energy! I was extremely energetic and the only way to let it out was to get out and have lots of snow day fun! When I started to get on my warm winter gear, I was curious about what I was going to do when I got outside? Man I can barely wait to start this day! I feel like I might explode with all the amazing things I can do today.
I picked up the large snow globe, admiring the precise detail of the miniature town inside. It showed the whole town just as it was today. Meyer’s, Target and Kohl's were all lined up as usual. Everything was the same. Except for one major detail. One, it wasn't filled with water and two, on the west side of town, instead of the store I was currently in, there was a golden gate. It had a tiny keyhole where you could unlock and open it. You could swing open the gate and take whatever was in the snow globe out. Compared to the gate’s small surroundings, it was huge. But to me, it was the size of a board eraser.
Good evening parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and friends. I would like to thank you all for coming to this very special day. I know how proud you must be. As we have grown over the years, there are many stages we all have gone through. From learning our shapes and colors, to getting our first kiss in middle school, or how about explaining to our parents why we skipped school because the principal called home. As we remember these days, things that we've done will be with us forever. But this is only the start of our journey. The day has come where we say goodbye to the big yellow buses, assemblies, assigned seating, and attendance policies. Are you really gonna miss it? For some of us maybe not right away. But eventually we will so for us to be here it is not necessarily an achievement, but a privilege. All of us have been in school over half our lives. To graduate is one more step we've taken in our lives.
I can almost remember that day like it was yesterday, I awoke like on any other school day. It was a gorgeous May morning, the rays of sun flittered through my miniblinds blinding me as if I hadn’t seen light in days. I sluggishly dragged my limp body out of my warm bed, retiring to the bathroom to perform my normal morning rituals shower, shave, brush my teeth, get dressed, do my hair, and all the other regulars. As I looked at myself while combing my hair, it hit me like a speeding express train, I was about to graduate. I couldn’t help but smile, but at the same time I felt like a part of me was drifting away. A tear came to my eye as I realized what was about to happen to me.
Graduation is an exciting time in a person’s life, especially a high school graduation. When I think of family and friends gathering together to celebrate a joyous occasion, I feel I accomplished my strongest goal. It never occurred to me that graduation would be the end of my youth and the start of adulthood. Graduating from high school was an influential event that gave me an altered outlook on my existence. Life before graduation, preparing for graduation day, and commencement day overwhelmed me for reality.
... thought that maybe we won’t be friends or even know each other in the future. Unexpectedly, we all had these feelings of fondness for a place we a come to despise and couldn’t wait to leave. Why would that happen to us? We all realized that in this moment we’re growing up but are far from “grown up.” Suddenly, there is a flash of light and in that moment I knew that the three of us would be separated for the rest of the day, maybe our lives. The flash brought everything back. It gave us a reason to go back into the hallway and meaninglessly chat with our friends. After we left that room we were still sharing a moment together but in a different sort of way. The picture was there and we had superficial thoughts but the graduation was so much more. It marked a major time in our lives and sent us off into the future. No longer were we the next generation because we were being sent off into the grown up world. Would we all still be appreciated? How is the world going to receive three naive girls who don’t know anything? All these questions were to be asked and to be forgotten because we got caught up in the moment. The picture marks that time in our past and an important time it was.
June 5, 2014 was graduation day, one of the saddest days to date, the day where I left behind all my high school memories in pursuit of a career in education. It was a windy day that was at times a bit cold but in general was a gorgeous day. The birds were chirping as Mrs. Swett gave a speech and brought up how this graduating class was by far her favorite and that is why she is retiring, because you can’t get better than the best. After the last diploma is received and the tassel on the hat is switched to the other side, the ceremony was over and everyone began taking pictures and sharing laughter while some tears were indeed shed. It was a fantastic night not only leading into our adulthood, but also marked the start of our adventure of life.
Then, I heard everyone scream “Surprise!” I could not believe my eyes. There was decoration all over the living room, a cake on the table, music and a big bouquet of pink flowers. My eyes start tearing. I was delighted and humbled by how lucky I was to have such an amazing family. I ran up to my parents, my three brothers, and sisters in law and hugged all of them. We started singing and dancing I cannot forget those moments of my life. Then I realized time was running and that I still had to go to my cousin’s house to do my makeup. I rushed to her house leaving my family at home, so they could get ready, and we could later celebrate after the graduation. As, Sandra was putting on my makeup; I was thinking of how I was going to react when they called my name on the stage. I was smiling as I was thinking of the moment of my
Graduation: the last day that I would unwillingly set foot on the fields of Horizon High School. I could feel my heart beating out of my chest, and tried so hard to keep my feet moving one after the other in order to maintain my perfect stature. After the two hour wait of opening speeches, class songs, and the calling off of the five hundred plus names that were in front of me, it was finally my turn. As my row stood up and we walked towards the stage it had set in at last, this is it, I am done. My high school career ended on that night, but it didn’t close the book that is my life, it only started a new chapter, and with it came a whole slue of uncertainties.
