The Denial of the Holocaust should not be illegal. Even if the opinion is harsh it still should not be illegal. Everyone should have a right to their own opinion, even if somebody doesn’t like that person’s opinion or think that it is harsh. Everyone should have the right of Freedom of Speech. Nobody should have that taken away from them. Everyone can talk their mind, and say what they would like, of course if it’s not a violent threat. Although some people get offended by the denial of the Holocaust, people deserve to say what they would like to, even if others don’t want to hear it. People get really offended by the denial because there were so many deaths of the Jews and extremely terrible things happened to them. ...r, although the deniers are completely wrong about the denial of the holocaust, I believe everyone should be entitled to their own opinion. Although, some opinions might make people angry, upsetting, sad, or even if the opinion is crazy, they have the right of Freedom of Speech. Freedom of Speech should never be taken away from a person. They have a right to speak their mind, and believe what they want. You cannot force a person to believe what you would like them to believe, just because you think it is right. You cannot force a person to believe a certain religion or anything like that. They are a person and deserve every right any other person does. Although the deniers deny any of the horrible events to the Jews, they still should have a right to their opinion. In some cases, people will get angry and offended, but at the end of the day, they are still a person.

Holocaust Denial and Distortion Essay

- “One is astonished in the study of history at the recurrence of the idea that evil must be forgotten, distorted, skimmed over.
