We all have had dreams and goals that we have wished to accomplish since we were little kids or teenagers. Some of our dreams were extremely unrealistic and physically impossible to accomplish. Some of our dreams were very reasonable and accomplishable. These dreams could have possibly ranged from having superpowers to something as simple as meeting the so-called “tooth-fairy” as she puts your money under your pillow at night. Some of us might have had dreams that were a little bit more beneficial than superpowers and meeting an imaginary being. For example, my biggest dream and goal that I have always followed is that one day I will become a doctor. Everyone always had some dream job that they wanted and being a doctor just so happened to be mind. As I was growing up as a child, I was always intrigued by scientific things that involves the body. Also, I was also interested in being beneficial to society by helping people out. I finally figured out that I could satisfy both of those interests by being involved in the medical field. However, I ran into a problem when I was trying to decide on what I would do in the medical field since there is such a variety of things that I could do. After a lot of thinking on that subject, I finally made the decision that I would be a pediatrician. By me becoming a

I always knew that I would need to pick a major that was pertaining to life and that would be science related. I felt like biology would be the best route for me to choose because it would prepare me for the stuff I would need to know about the body as a doctor and possibly prepare me for medical school. I am required to have at least 32 semester hours of biology for the degree which will include 24 hours at the 300 level and above.
