Decisions in Paradise II
In Decisions in Paradise I, the many problems facing the Morales Importers company were discussed. Also discussed were many of the possible solutions to those problems and how those solutions could affect the company and the island of Kava. At this portion of the process, we want to apply some of the various decision-making techniques to find the best solutions. The problem has been identified as a failure to thrive on the island of Kava. The goals and objectives include cleaning up and organizing the office spaces, finding somebody to take over the receptionist’s duties, and minimizing the effects of natural disasters on the company. To help make the decision, I will be using the critical thinking skills learned from reading the assigned texts and the nine step decision-making process from University of Phoenix.
The problems have many causes. The poor state of the offices is due to the lack of cleaning personnel and the frequent natural disasters and rough weather. The problem is further worsened by having an overworked executive handling too many...
