Beethoven was born Ludwig Van Beethoven on December 16,1770. He had 2 brothers Caspar and Johann a mother Maria who was moralistic a father who was known for his alcoholism. Beethoven’s most prosperous and eminent musician was his grandfather,godfather and namesake, Kapellmeister Ludwig Van Beethoven. Some time between his 2 brothers were born Beethoven 's father began teaching him music. Hoping that one day his son would be like a Mozart he locked him in depriving him of food. His father soon became unable to take care of the family due to his alcoholism and requested Beethoven be put on a pay role instead the court had something better in mind.


The court sent Beethoven to Vienna to study with Mozart, all was going well until Beethoven 's mother became ill. He returned home and stayed and was being recognized as the cities most promising young court musician. In 1790 when the Roman emperor died Beethoven played a piece for him at the age of 19. This song was titled Cantata on The Death of Emperor Joseph II. This was considered his earliest masterpiece.


When Beethoven left for Vienna again in 1792 he began to study with the greatest composer alive, Haydn. He began to study piano with Haydn, vocals with Antonio Salieri and counterpoint with Johann Albrechtsberger. Known as a virtuoso pianist but not yet a composer. In April 1800 Beethoven debuted his Symphony No. 1. This now was when Europe established him to be the most celebrated composers. In 1799 Beethoven stop attending social events because he was going deaf. He kept this a secret for a very long time.


In 1815 Casper, one of Beethoven 's brothers had died. Beethoven struggled with gaining custody of his nephew for 7 years, he won. Beethoven being deaf ...

Beethoven worked with a number some of people but Mozart,Haydn and Albrechtsberger made the greatest impact on his music. To this day people still play and listen to all of them but Beethoven is most rememberable.

Beethoven is one of the most widely recognized and admired composers in the history of Western music. Beethoven was the first person to put lyrics in a song he is basically the God of music. The Beethoven Monument Bonn was unveiled in August 1845 in honor of his 75th anniversary. Beethoven died March 1827 in Vienna, Austria.


Beethoven had a vibe from Mozart who dramatically extended both the length of substance of music.
