11 September, 2001 (“9/11”) should always be remembered as the most gruesome day. Thousands dead and approximately 10,000 injured in and around the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and on the overthrown plane that landed in a field in Pennsylvania. 343 paramedics and firefighters died in the worst terrorist attack on American soil, along with the 37 fallen NYPD officers saving lives on that very day. That Tuesday morning was normal; just like every other Tuesday all of the killed workers had experienced, until the first plane struck the 80th floor of the 110 floor building built to withstand gusts up to 200 mph. “A freak accident”. Once the second plane hit the 60th floor it wasn't a freak accident anymore. America was under attack. 9/11 was the worst foreign attack on american soil ever. When the terrible attack went underway in New York, it was a foreshadowing to the Afghanistan war and the NSA.
