Leaders are often portrayed as heroes and champions, but there is also a darker side to being a leader. Adolph Hitler was one of the strongest leaders in the last 100 years, if not the strongest leader of all time. He was a man with the ability to lead a country, with a population of 20 million people, against the whole world in a vision the way he saw fit. He led Germany out of economic depression after previously being through World War I. This is indeed what all leaders strive to be. Hitler is one of the best models for inspiring leaders. He exhibited some of the strongest qualities of being a leader, which included: vision, eloquence, charisma, strong will, and tyranny.

Vision is a manner in which someone imagines something. All leaders must have a vision. Hitler had one of the greatest, although immoral, visions of all time. His vision of wanting to purge the world of all the Jews, Gypsies, Homosexuals, and anyone else that did not fit his definition of the perfect race. His quest for the perfect race - the Arian race - consisted of blonde-haired, blue-eyed Caucasians combined with his vision of leading Germany to world domination gave him a purpose and the power to inspire others. Although he was not able to complete his vision, he fought for it until the end of his life.

One of the most outstanding leadership qualities of Hitler was his eloquence. Being eloquent is to be fluent and persuasive in speech. Hitler would stir up the German people with his fervent speeches. He knew how to appeal to people's basic instincts and made use of their fears and insecurities, making manipulation one of Hitler's greatest assets. Since he was able to get his audience so passionate and zealous over his goals, they would follow him regard...

However, I understand majority of people in this planet would say that Hitler was a horrible human being. Many people do not want to recognize that he was a great leader because he committed some horrible things and might disagree about him being a great leader because he led Germany to another loss, but this was inevitable because one man and one country cannot stand against the world and hope to win. Nevertheless, Hitler exemplified qualities necessary for a strong leader such as having a vision, being eloquent, charismatic, tyrannical, and strong willed. Hitler was one of the greatest leaders of all time and should be a role model for future leaders wanting to better the world.
