Methodology
The focus on this study was primary on customer adoption and the security concerns that have arisen from the implementation of mobile payment options. The study was mainly research driven and included many articles and journals that were written on the subject. Finding reliable sources of information was done by using the University of Nevada Reno 's advanced database access in the knowledge center. With the University of Nevada Reno 's database Google scholar was used in searching for applicable articles that pertain to the subject matter. Google scholar allowed for a specific search that focused on peer-reviewed journals between 2010 and 2015. These two electronic databases gave excellent sources of information that was used in this paper. A detailed questionnaire was developed to understand what a select few students at the University of Nevada Reno thought about using a mobile payment option. Three questions were used to determine what type of phone they have, if they would use Mobile payment, and what their perceived security feeling is when using a mobile payment option. I was particularly interested in if people that own an android phone are willing to use mobile payment as people that own an Apple iPhone. The questionnaire was sent by email and handed out to students on campus. Once the deadline for responses were due a total of 35 of the questionnaires were answered. When the responses were calculated there was a correlation that could be found between people that own an Apple iPhone and the willingness to use a mobile payment option.

The security issues with this payment plan can be fixed and it will allow customers to make safer purchases where they don 't have to worry about getting their personal information compromised. Even through mobile payment has been tried once before by Google in 2011 and failed to get customer adoption Apple Pay has improved upon and has made Apple Pay a foundation for this revolutionary way that people pay. Google wanted to collect data on people so it could produce more directed advertisements which ultimately was a contribution factor to its failure. Based on a small sampling of students at the University of Nevada Reno, owners of and Apple iPhone are willing and do use Apple Pay at the few retailers that are starting to offer this option.
