Creativity, it’s a broad topic of just new things and ideas among people. The definition of creativity is the use of the imagination or original ideas, especially in the production of an artistic work. PBS describes creativity as, “The new ideas and new connections between ideas, and ways to solve problems in any field or realm of our lives. The concept of creativity is often hard to grasp because creativity isn 't a tangible thing its just and idea. Also, because it’s hard to differ between a truly original idea and an idea that is just shaped from others. With all this being said, it can be hard to figure out where creativity comes from.
There are many answers to this question. First, creativity is generated in the brain and it is generated in certain parts of the brain. Second, creativity can be started by a certain state of mind and thought processes. Lastly, creativity is usually done through hard work and not just a simple flash of brilliance. Even with these examples being given there are also many myths that go along with the origin of creativity. It has long been believed that creativity is a right brain activity or is centrally located in one spot of the brain. Most people, however, do not have split brains and this idea has since then been disproven through recent brain mapping studies and research. Furthermore, this idea is backed by PBS in an article where they said, “The popular idea that language and logic are ‘left brain’ act...

... them all the species in which they had evolved” (The Hidden Secrets of the Creative Mind). Darwin spent years refining this theory before ultimately rejecting it. But it was a critical link in the chain that led to his branching model of evolution. This shows that even with a bad idea good ideas can be made out of it. As without his “bad idea,” his theory of evolution might have never come to be.
In conclusion, the source of creativity has been shown in three aspects. It has been shown in the literal source of creativity and the brain. It has been shown in the state of mind someone needs to have to be creative. Lastly, it has been shown in the process in which someone goes through to be creative. Along the way, some myths of the creative process and where it comes from have been shown and how they do not hold to be true. This is how creativity is created.

Everyday Creativity is Always Dialogical in Bakhtin’s Sense Essay

- Everyday Creativity is Always Dialogical in Bakhtin’s Sense Traditional definitions of language have often categorised creative activity in the ‘canonical’ literary uses we see in artistic works. However, contemporary definitions no longer confine creativity with language to the work of the novelist or poet. It is a well argued point that the seeds of such literary language reside in what may be described, as the mundane, practical uses of ‘everyday’ talk and writing.
