In the United States, there is a higher demand for cosmetic and plastic surgery than in other countries such as Germany and Australia. In 2009, there was a study done by American Society for Aesthetic plastic Surgery which showed that there were about 200 thousand teenagers who had cosmetic surgery done in our country while there were only half as many in each other foreign country (Gilbert par. 2). These statistics were obtained in 2009 and since then the numbers have only gone up. More and more teenagers are being pushed towards cosmetic surgery in order to fix what they think are imperfections.

With the help of cosmetic and plastic surgery children, teenagers, and young adults don’t have to worry about being bullied when going to school or going out they would be able to focus more on their curriculum or being able to live a happy life.
With some cases, plastic and cosmetic surgery is not optional and it is something that teenagers and young adults must face in their lives.
