Most consumers look at the companies CSR and then decide if they want to eat, shop, or use their service or merchandise. If such business do not conduct themselves ethically than their company may or may not feel the burden. Such companies get involved with public health issues, protecting the environment, quality in the workplace, green marketing, corporate philanthropy, and making contributions to charities. But are their CSR declarations real, actual, and honest? From my point of view, CSR publications do not guarantee that the practices of companies observe the rules of business ethics and I am going to present a couple arguments that tell both sides. The Lego group and Walmart. One does a tremendous job with CSR and is open to show society what they have done and the other does a camouflage with their CSR so that their profits do not tumble.

(Chamberlain, 2011) Upon looking at their factories Lego uses robots to manage the day to day nitty gritty operations. By using robots the safety factor is taken out to a degree because they is no life loss is something catastrophic happens. The employee level of motivation and satisfaction is what Lego uses to ensure that they are doing the right thing. Also by diversifying their workforce the opportunity to solve and adapt change within the company is greater than if there was none. Within the safety and concern for their employees the Lego group has been in the top 10 best performing corporations to work for.
