In a world where religion is becoming more and more important so is religious tolerance. Dennis Quad once said, “Certainly I'm a Christian first and foremost. But I do believe in religious tolerance and finding the commonality between all of us. I think that's how we're all going to come together”. Because of people like this, if one million Jewish people and one million Christians moved within the borders of the same country the level of religious conflict would be low in the country because the similarities such as being monotheistic and believing in similar ideas and have the same holy sites. These reasons will over power their differences thus allowing them to have a low level of conflict. Their differences will cause a little conflict while their similarities will keep them civil and if all else fails they will be able to be separate but civil.
The similarities of the two religions is what will keep them civil if put in the same country. In fact if one does look at the similarities they will see that Judaism and Christianity have enough in common to keep them at peace even if they disagree about other things. First off both religions are monotheist meaning that they only believe in one God. Because believing in one God is very different than believing in multiple Gods, Judaism and Christianity will be able to get along because of believing in one God (Berman). Judaism and Christianity also have holy places in Jerusalem, which can help bring the people together. Even if those reasons don’t convince you that they will be civil, how about their history.
