War of 1962. Both India and China were intertwined in a border dispute following India’s independence. China had decided to build a road in Aksai Chin plateau, which led to rising frictions between China and India which led these two countries into a small war. Thus, disputes between countries can arise due to disagreements over territory. Another source of war is limited amounts of resources. Conflict over scarce resources is a significant cause of conflict amongst countries.
IV. Conclusion and Recommendations
In conclusion, there are many approaches countries could take to solve global challenges. If countries worked collectively and individually to fix at least one of the global challenges, whether its poverty, population growth, food crisis and wars, then countries would ironically address the issues of other challenges.
For example, if countries provided better health care for citizens who are in poverty then they would also at the same time solve the issues of global health. Better health care would provide citizens with the opportunity to visit the doctor’s office more often and diseases wouldn’t have the ability to spread as fast as they do. …show more content…

Securing food resources would be beneficial to countries that are low on food and have an enormous population to feed. However, food security wouldn’t need much help if countries across the world could target the population growth issues.
