The complex health care today needs strong leadership, advanced education, productive, and efficient work force to create a healthy environment to improve the patient outcome. A nurse administrator must have a masters degree in management and administration with certification through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE), or the American College of Healthcare (graduate nursing) . Open and effective communication with all, the department is very important to create a healthy working environment. Establishing a cultural competency in the workforce is important to lead a strong health care team. Trust, honesty and nonjudgmental behaviors are also essential for those who are in the management position (American Organization of Nurse Executives, 2015). In order to provide safe care it is important that the nurse administrator should have extensive knowledge of current nursing practices, and payment issues that can affect an organization’s finances (American Organization of Nurse Executives, 2015). There are many things that are important for nurse administrators such as clinical practice knowledge, health care economics and policy, risk management , and performance improvement (American Organization of Nurse Executives, 2015). Even though nurse administrator provides indirect care, but still make sure all the care provided are evidence based and meet the organizational standard . Having enough knowledge in the business is very important to manage an organization which includes budgeting ,human resources , financial resources, and information technology (American Organization of Nurse Executives, 2015). NP uses advanced skills, education, critical thinking , and assessment skills to diagnose and treat their patients. Ethical competency is an important factor in daily practice, nurse practitioners prove this competency by combining ethical principle and evaluating the consequences of the of the decisions and practicing sound ethical decisions to solve the complex issues(.C.ymcdh).NP use their leadership in many areas for example collaborating , coaching, mentoring, and consulting with other health care team to provide quality care. NP use the knowledge they learned through advanced education to improve patient out come. It is important that Np must have knowledge about the organizational practices and use best evidence base practice to improve health out come.Technology play an important role today for delivering quality care, so it is important that FNP keep uptodate information and teach their patients how to access the health information they needed
