College Life: The Ideal College

Everyone is bound to possess imagination toward college life before being enrolled. I am not an exception as well. To my ideal college, it should be the same with the foreign TV series have shown, with a lush large meadow where students are able to lay under the shadow of leaves, enjoying reading books or chatting with intimate friends; a huge number of clubs are established in school; students can participate in a variety of activities like singing contests, speeches given by famous people, exclusive events held by school, and so on. Also, a wonderful college will not be complete without a spectacular library, owing a vase collection of worldwide and comprehensive books and resources. However, all of these imaginations vanished without a second as I stepped into my college. There did have a lush large meadow lies on the central of campus, though it can hardly reach my expectation because there were countless insects living in there. To which I make compromise given that it would never be as clean as the soft carpet in my cozy home. After a month struggling for getting used to the new and unfamiliar things, I was bitterly announced to be defeated in that this college was utterly beyond my imagination.
The college was located in a township and surrounded by mountains. The best description of it was, living in a wild national park. Being woken up by birds’ tweeting was no more absurdity, with the change of seasons it was also available to different kinds of birds’ sounds. The nature environment here provided who had dense curiosity to insects to observe them directly, by seeing them failed to rush into the dormitory and got a serious hit on the window, falling on the windowsill as heroic deaths. ...vides some types of roommates for choosing; foreigners, students with similar habits, or classmate. Nevertheless, we had no choice but to live with classmates. It was free to discussing about homework if thinking positively, while which meant I had to stay with same group of people twenty-four seven, regardless of waking up, taking classes, having meals, and even sleeping at every night. It was definitely inflexible and exhausting in a long run, particularly to me who put highly emphasis on private matters and the quality of life.
The gap between imagination and reality is always harsh, but I still have to face it. Escaping from the real world is never a great manner to solve problems. If it is difficult to love what I have chosen or grin and bear it, it is time to take action. I am well-prepared for changing the unsatisfying situation and make it more acceptable.
