The career I selected to pursue when I get out of college is a software engineering position. I am choosing this career because of the great interest I have in this field. Also, this field of work is always changing so you cannot succeed without adapting to new information. This means that my work environment will not always be same, which I enjoy. I have researched other careers in the field of work, but software engineering is the one that interests me the most.
A typical workday as a software engineer has you reviewing programs and code for existing software and finding ways to make it more efficient to save time on operating cost (Software Engineer Job Description, n.d.). This is an average day where you are not assigned to create any new software or meet with anyone to discuss the current situation with the programs that you have now. As a software engineer you will be working in a team where you need good communication and people skills to get work done. A group of programmers will be assigned to you if needed to further along a project that may take a long amount of time to complete. A computer science major is a very difficult major if you have no passion or dive for it, and even when you do you can still have troubles. I have a great interest in this career and I made sure that this is something that I want to pursue. I am going to make sure that work for my computer science classes comes first and get help when I need it to make me successful. Also, as stated before, there is a great amount of completion for entry level positions. If anyone wants to get into this field, then they have to make sure that they make themselves stand out from the rest. Focusing on pursuing a career you like is important because statistics show fifty-two percent of Americans are unhappy going to work every day because they chose a career they didn’t have an interest in. My ideal job is in the medical field because I’ve always had a passion in helping people. I want to specialize in nurse anesthesia because of the important role they have in society. Nurse anesthesia interests me because of the tasks they do, the advanced education path they must take, and the history behind the profession.
The career I have chosen for my future is to become a registered dental hygienist. It wasn’t until I actually learned what dental hygienists do that influenced my interest from medical to dentistry. The first honest reason I was gravitated to dental hygiene was because of the salary. I didn’t really know what Dental Hygienist actually did until I did some research.
I chose to pursue on being a computer hardware engineer because I like taking apart and building computers and I would like to be able to construct some components that would go into a computer. I am kind of fascinated on how much there is to know about computers to even buy parts yourself and build it. Later on, I will start to study on what computer hardware engineers really do on their jobs. I know they usually work in groups because the task computer hardware engineers have will usually be really hard to do alone. When I am in college, I will most likely get an internship to gain practical experience.
The career that I choose is registered nurse. The reason why I choose this career it because nurse is like and angle that help painful patients to become relives. Registered nurse’s responsibilities are treating and caring for patients, also include educating patients and the public about a variety of medical conditions, as well as providing emotional support and advice to the families of their patients. Right now I have a fairly accurate idea concerning what I want to do with my life. My love for computers has taken me a long way and I have a strong feeling that I will continue in the field of computer science. Yet, I am also aware that I may change my mind several times before I begin a career. College will introduce me to new and various things, and I will develop new interests from this exposure. The world of technology is changing rapidly and computers seem like the best way to go. When I combine that and my love for computers I am almost certain that the field of computer science is right for me.
My Career The career field I chose is to be a firefighter. The reason why I want to be a firefighter is because they help people and prevent fires from spreading. I’ve always wanted to help people everywhere, because I don’t like it whenever there is an accident and some people die and lose their loved ones, people talking crap about them and just talking and pointing the cameras in their face watching them cry. I want to help people and make a difference and help protect people’s lives, and be someone people recognize when I walk by them.

For a career, I would like to be involved in the fast developing computer industry and more particularly with the Internet. I think it has immense potential and I would like to be able to develop the Internet to make it help the lives of day to day people. In this way I would also like to help make computers more like humans with for example voice operated user interfaces.
The career i chose is a branch of the medical field. I chose a career in nursing, more specifically the career path of a registered nurse. This career consists of providing care for people of all ages and helping them with managing their conditions. I chose this career because my mother is an rn and my family has a strong presence in the medical field. It is important to understand the education or training requirements, skills, or talents needed, salary, benefits offered, and the duties for a particular career when making this decision.
Most of my life has been focused on my career. I never really thought about my life outside of high school until my junior year. It was not until this year that I realized all the things that were involved with my career interests. Although I am very committed to my career choices. I have chosen to major in elementary education and minor in photography.
The career that I have chosen for my future is to become a dentist. Become a dentist is one of my biggest dreams, because is something that I always wanted to be since I was a child. There are a lot of advantages of becoming a dentist that I really love about this career. Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions a person has to make in their life. It is so important because that is what we will have to do to support ourselves throughout life. Imagine being stuck in a dead end job and having to go to work every morning and dreading it. That is no spending oneÕs time and life is too short to work 35 years and be unhappy with it. If a person likes the job they do then it is not work, because finding satisfaction out of a job can bring great happiness. That information has enabled me to make the decision of choosing my area of study and career in the field of Information Technology.
My passion for both software and hardware behind it stems from having been fortunate enough to be introduced to it at a young age. What may have originally been a simple fondness for video games developed into a curiosity regarding the nuts and bolts of the computer and a dedication to improve them. Subsequently, I plan to pursue software engineering in the future.
