Global warming is a serious environmental issue taking place on our planet earth. It threatens the wildlife, the people of our society, our progress and achievements as humans, the plants and many other examples that will be discussed in this essay. Like how does it affect us? When will it end? Are we, humans, the main cause of this? This is guaranteed to answer most every question you have considered about global warming.

Who’d have thought that there are pros of global warming, right? Well, it would lower the amount of winter deaths. The percentage of winter deaths are higher than those of other seasonal deaths. There are diseases like pneumonia and influenza that can kill you in a very painful way. The rising of temperatures that global warming provides will reduce that by a good percentage. There is most likely to be less droughts too. And as far as cons go, there are many previous and upcoming paragraphs that will insight you on that.

A commonly asked question is if global warming and the greenhouse effect are the same thing. The answer to that is no, the greenhouse effect is a natural process where specific gases in our atmosphere such as carbon dioxide, methane and water vapor absorb some of the infrared radiation that is put out by the Earth.

Global warming only attributes to the Earth’s rising surface temperature. Climate change on the other hand, refers to warming and the causes and reactions of warming, for example, melting glaciers, heavy rain and wind storms, and drought. In short global warming is only one category of Climate change.
