Due to the fact that cigarettes is not a main cause of death, it is a popular cause of the breathing system to lead to death. If your life was in the phase of this cigarette, when would you know when to quit before it’s too late? Once lit your life is that cigarette, your four inches of beauty, seven minutes of pleasure, is then gone.
The image of nine cigarettes lined along a surface, where the first cigarette from left to right is brand new, straight out the box. The second one has been struck, known by the decrease in size and ash that comes from being burned. From there the other seven are remaining to be charred and shorten from smoking. Every cigarette has an ending as well, where the white paper touches the orange, separated by a thin gold strip. On the other hand the audience of non-smokers would probably be more influenced not to smoke, while also mimicking the interpretations of others not to smoke and how it moves them. Some non-smokers have a strong bias against smoking from the death of a relative that smoked or a relative or friend that died from smoking, not because they were a smoker, but being around someone that smoked. All audience of every kind have the appeal that smoking will kill you, but still choose to smoke, but this image tries to convey them not to and the risk of it.
The demonstration of logos we recognize in the image are cigarettes, where we think of them as causing cancers and death. Knowing worldwide that the toxic chemicals and addiction that can kill us, viewed in the image, everyone logically understands it as death. Its clarification of ethos comes from the background of the author, in what effect does he have on the image to make us want to believe in the knowledge he attempts to give
