Although this might seem small, it has an enormous impact on our earth as well as our health. Electric cars are just one step we can utilize batteries for a better society, with further improvement upon it, it will expand to even more possible applications. Batteries hold the potential to be part of the solution of the energy problems our world is now facing. In the future it is quite possible it will be unheard of to drive anything other than an electric car. With more powerful battery technology in the future it could expand to even more modes of transportation and processes we use on a daily basis. Research into battery chemistry and technology is a necessary part of today’s technology and is a pathway to a cleaner and more energy efficient future.
