Characteristics of successful entrepreneurs
An entrepreneur is someone with the capacity to lead a business to success and is willing to take the risks in order to accomplish their goals. (Dollonger, 2002). Starting a new business is an example of entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurs are very important in order for any business to succeed, however, only some entrepreneurs will succeed in life. Here are some of the characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.
Passion
Most successful entrepreneurs are have a passion for their product or service as well as a desire to solve a problem and make life easier, better, cheaper (10 Qualities of successful entrepreneurs, 2010). Their desire to be an entrepreneur is mostly due to in internal factor rather than an external such as money.
Vision
entrepreneurs have the ability to come up with new ideas in various situations of which one might have never imagined. Entrepreneurs have a curiosity that identifies overlooked niches and they are constantly trying to innovate (Robinson, 2014). They imagine another world and have the ability to communicate that vision effectively to investors, customers and staff.
Clear Vision
Successful entrepreneurs have a clear image of what they want their future to be like. They hold a clear picture of the direction the company should take and have a clear plan of how they will make their vision a reality (9 essential traits of successful entrepreneurs, 2013)
Confidence
an entrepreneur will never be uncertain of whether or not they will succeed. They are confident with the knowledge that they will make their businesses succeed (10 Qualities of successful entrepreneurs, 2010). They exude that confidence in everything they do.

Drive, will- power, creativity, independent, self confident, dedication, perseverance, and goal oriented. These words are some of the characteristics that describe a successful business. A business needs drive to continue to strive and focus on the business even during the hardest of times. A good business needs will-power to do what is in the best interest of the business even if running the business is not enjoyable anymore. Creativity is definitely a key factor because with creativity to make the business unique, the business is just like any other corner shop, and will not get the desired attention from the consumer. Creativity is also very important for marketing strategies. For example, America is on a low carb craze which has the potential to cause problems if Krispy Kreme does not have a creative plan to keep them profitable. Success entrepreneurs are independent. They tend not to rely on other people to make decisions for them. They want to make their own decisions and do something they enjoy. Self confidence is another key factor. If a business owner is not confident in them self, it will be extremely have to be confident in the success of a business. They must also have the confidence to bounce back for a poorly made decision. Dedication may be the most important characteristic. In order to make the business a success and for the business to have continued successful the owner must be dedicated. For example, if the owner of the business is not dedicated to his work; the employees will not be dedicated. The work will not be done to its full capability. The customers will not enjoy shopping with the company which will result in loss of profit. The business continues to lose revenue, and ultimately it will have to shut down. Business owners must also have perseverance. They need to be able to persist through hard times until goals are met. Lastly, the successful business owner must be goal oriented. To ensure success entrepreneurs must set high standard but maintain realistic goals for the business. They must know what it is they want to see happen with their business and continue to be focus to make sure it happens. All of these characteristics are extremely important in franchising the business. Krispy Kreme seems to have all of the listed characteristics which attributes to their continued success.

Being an entrepreneur is not always the first choice of people, but is forced into it by means of their circumstances. An entrepreneur is someone that is able to identify a need amongst their surroundings and introduce a product or service that satisfies the need.
Driven by an intense commitment and determined perseverance, entrepreneurs work very hard at what they do. They excel and want to win. Entrepreneurs are amazing people with a high respect of character. They use their mistakes as something to learn from rather than a failure. No matter the outcome, they believe in themselves and have an extreme confidence not only in themselves, but also in what they do.

Some people accredit their success to fate, while others accredit it to their own achievements. I personally believe, good happens to people who work persistently for what they hunger. Being a successful entrepreneur is about sacrifice and hard-work. I assume I hold the qualities of a hard-worker. Scoring a twelve for action orientated was a shock. I find myself to be amply action orientated. I know whatever I require done, will not be completed unless I do it. I demand action in everyday challenges I am faced with. One structural characteristic of being an entrepreneur is being action-oriented. Willingness to utilize action and persistence are common traits of entrepreneurs.
Many people dream of becoming entrepreneurs someday. But it made me realize that there other factors that needs to be taken into consideration. We need to ask ourselves are we ready to take the challenge to the outside world. Not everyone have the vision, innovation and creativity to become an entrepreneur. The individual must have a positive attitude and accept the responsibility, have discipline to meet their goals, and take action when the opportunity presents itself. Many prefer a job security and rely on a weekly paycheck, while entrepreneurs will take risks and doesn 't have that luxury to know the amount of their income.
An entrepreneur is an individual that takes the risk of investing his or her money into an idea, product and/or service. These individuals usually have “do or die” attitudes. The typical characteristics of an entrepreneur are viewing rules as mere guidelines, low threshold on frustration; they can be very manipulative of others. Another facet they exhibit impulsive behaviors and they are prone to take action. The primary motivation for the entrepreneur is the ability to master his/her destiny and to the have to ability to do something they really enjoy.
