This paper gives a detailed analysis of three common themes:
Emotional intelligence, traits, and technical skills
Human behaviors in an organizational setting
Characteristics of a servant and spiritual leadership
The three issues relatively share commonalities about effective leadership. Also, these arguments are relevant to my thesis - caring for the least able, imitating the selfless servant heart of Jesus Christ. The knowledge I have acquired so far throughout the doctoral program helps increase my awareness of authentic leadership. Real leadership symbolizes leadership both rational and emotional and involves both sides of human experiences. Real leadership actions, if done with integrity and honesty influences the core value toward understanding and philosophy as well as those based on inspiration and enthusiasm.

Since starting the doctoral program, I learned that leadership behaviors and decisions do affect employees and organizations. Various scholars’ revealed leadership is both rational and emotional and involves both sides of human experience. Leadership also includes traits and influences based on reason and logic as well those based on inspiration and passion. Moreover; leadership development comes through experience. For example, people learn from different experiences. Be it positive or negative, humans are tools for growth and development. People achieve goals by focusing on values because values imperatively make leaders present what the leader is leading.
