CHAPTER FIVE The Enchanted Amulet Dust closed in all around us the next day as we set out. "We 're off an adventure," Cotton yawned as he jumped over a huge tumbleweed. "And I don 't see any witch anywhere hurray! This will be exciting, just you and me on a quest to find the golden key." "I hope we can find it. The sooner the better my parent 's lives are at stake," I said and continued to clomp along. "Oh no worries lad, we 'll find it," he shouted and jumped into the air clicking his clogs together twice. "This kind of stuff is so exhilarating. You have no idea how bored I 've been. "Well then I walked into your room and I saw a very creepy goblin sitting in a rocking chair. He sprinkled something in the air and I was under his spell," she said and paused for moment and adjusted her glasses. "Was it a light blue power?" I asked. "Yes, it was. It so was weird, once I breathed it in, I couldn 't move. I just stood there and watched him rock back and forth for a long time. Then he suddenly grabbed me and tossed me through the mirror.
