The Casting out of Banned Books

What are books? Books are an excellent source of information and imagination, but not everyone considers it like that. More or less people tend to not agree and dislike the messages some books gives its readers. Books are banned for not taking in the same political and religious views, for its vulgar and obscene words, explicit sex scenes and sexual language, the community values or simply because it’s a little negative and a sedative.
The casting out of books is something that has been occurring since the printing press was first manufactured. The banning of such records, mainly takes place in third world nations that are under the control of dictators and extreme religious views and in most first world nations where religion is very important, but in the united states a place where freedom of language is part of the nation but, the case of freedom isn’t always the same when it comes to scripts.
The decision on banning books is primarily produced by teachers and parents, sometimes even the government might ban a book if it’s a menace to internal security. In plain sight books might appear like a hard cover filled with words and illustrations, but inside there are weapons of change and some people don’t like change, so they decide to ban such books.
From children’s books to great American classic books have been banned in schools and libraries all over the nation and the globe. Books like Lolita, Where the Wild Things Are, To Kill a Mockingbird and, The Scarlet Letter is only a few of thousands of records that have been banned in schools and libraries, even rural areas worldwide.
