Carl Jung in 1921, developed a theory on personality types. This discovery determined individual’s personalities could be assessed by personality and/or character traits. Centered on these traits, behaviors and patterns are developed that form a person’s overall personality type. Jung’s research further explained that people process information differently according to these findings. Individuals are psychologically either introverted or extroverted, intuitive or sensors, thinkers or feelers, and judgers or perceivers. Based on my completion of the 60 question assessment, Jung’s Personality Test; I will discuss and evaluate my personality type as an ENFJ, the “Extroverted Feeler with Introverted Intuition”. This book can serve as a very valuable tool to executives and managers of people to assist them with achieving the best results from their employees in the workplace, along with helping them to become better managers and “typewatchers”.
